You can unlock the patreon by editing the character script file
Path to script file: "IdleWaifu-1.0-pc\game\scripts\00CharSelection\02CharSelection.rpy"

Delete the hover patreon and action NullAction()
then uncomment the other actions

To be fair, you can level up multiple heroines to generate more income. It's still irksome and very opaque mechanic though
