My Cute Roommate is probably one of the worse for this. Having to repeat the mini-games each time you need money is annoying. And the fact that the difficulty of the library mini-game, mandatory to increase the stat, increase after each win is the worse of the worse.
On the other side, you've games like Summertime Saga. While its "spam the mouse button" way to increase the force is relatively boring, its rap battle to earn some point is kind of entertaining ; and you can cheat at the rap battle if you have a walkthrough. But in the end, once you've played them 10 times, you've maxed your stats and don't have to do them again, which is probably the most positive point.

Basically speaking, mini-games in adult games, why not ? But they should be either optional, for those who want more than the basis, or be one of the way to do something (or a shortcut to do them).

I agree with OP as well. The games worth playing are the games that could stand on their own without the porn. If any of us just wanted to see pictures, any search engine and a few keywords could do a better job than a poorly made game.

For example if you compared Lust Grimm (An RPG loosely based on Little Red Riding Hood) vs Little Red Hood (An NES game also loosely based on the same story) But if you added nude images to it, which game would be worth playing?

In the general sense I agree with you.
However, do I think you should enjoy every single game out there. No. Consider the fact that there are different types of games in the AAA titles and most people don't enjoy every single type there is. Some people like FPS but hate strategy games other like the opposite.

But if you are looking in a more general sense the game aspect is supposed to add something more to it other wise it is entirely pointless. I mean if all you are going to do is look at the pictures and you have no interest in the game you may as well go to a porn site. If you think the game aspect gets in the way of you jerking off then you probably are better served by a video site or gallery.

While this pertains to games the same can be said for the story and plot. If you don't give two shits about writing a well written story why bother. Just make it a slide show if you aren't willing or able to put the work into a story it needs or you plan on using shit short cuts to force what you want to happen rather than taking the time to work out how to get it to happen.
