Sorry, what? There are people MAKING MONEY off selling character cards?

Could you possibly provide some screenshots of this exclusive content, please? Or at least point me to these packs he's hawking, so I can look at the competition for myself?

Speaking as someone who releases hours and hours of original character work into the community each week, I'm kinda appalled by the idea of charging the community for THIS sort of content, to be honest. Even more puzzled that people will pay for cards, seeing as I see my work, made in Britain, being shared on Japanese card booru's or in countless "here's a card I made" blatant fusions across every site sharing Illusion cards.

I don't get pissy about that (more humbled than anything else), because that's literally the nature of this game and it's community. I've been at this for ages now and I'M just hearing about this, don't be surprised if other people are just trying to track down a card and (rightly) assuming it's just a card, not needlessly-behind-a-paywall gatekeeping.

I agree, I just want that one card and I dont know if PersuesStoned even releases the cards to public after a while. So if anyone is kind enough to send it, it would be appreciated.

you didn't know? i'm sorry you had to find out like this, lol. to me it's about compensating people for their time, and if you wanted to start a patreon i'd support you too, especially with how widely people rip you off. people put hours into this stuff and do me a huge favor by not putting me in a position to learn this wizardry on my own, so my couple dollars here and there is me showing gratitude for what is clearly very specialized, very time-consuming work. card selling isn't widespread though. many people attempt celebrity lookalikes, but very few pull it off to the degree perseus does. i've seen some people come close, but ultimately there's something off, like the face is too long. he got me with his margot robbie card. she is the real fucking deal.

I've heard that even Illusion themselves prohibit selling of chara cards...

There is this oldish thread but it is also just rumors there. No links to some source that proves anything. I do think it would only be logical that they discourage/distance themselves as hard and as far as possible from people recreating a 95%+ perfect lookalike of a celeb for a porn game and getting payed/asking money for it.
