Introducing Astrid and Sierra, sisters I created. These were created by using fusion on other character cards I created and then tweaked from there. The cards I fused were modeled 1:1 after real people so I think these have a more lifelike look but that could just be me. These are both representations of girls I wish I could be. I'll include a tiny bit of backstory for each if anyone cares.

I have not tested them in game, so I have no idea how well they line up with animations. You may have to tweak height values.

Astrid (Older sister, 21, aloof hippy personality but dresses glamorous and loves modelling)

Sierra (Younger sister, 19, punk/stoner personality but loves girly clothes)

It's all just a few simple tricks and nonsense. That DHH preset helps ALOT too. Nyaacho is my first go-to:

I add my custom eye textures...

Next, I add my usual two custom face under and overlays.

For the body, I go to Kito/Kitn's custom skin textures.

Nyaacho has some great ones also.

I grab either a Boy2239 hair style or one from Sjjpl for a bit more realistic appearance.

I also change the uncensoredselector away from "Default" so as to get her bumhole back to respectable. :HideThePain:

I adjust her arms (and tit size) so she is more skeletally accurate and pleasing to my eyes...

And I enlarge her hands and sometimes her feet so they also look more accurate to a human being.

I read somewhere way back on this thread about human beings versus blowup dolls. Most players enjoy surreally-shaped characters for Illusion games. I began my quest to achieve hyper-real-shaped girls, instead. It's a crazy learning process but I am happy to pass on what I have learned thus far so more players have less hair yanked out trying to do cool shit with their game. :) Hope this helps!

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to increase the image quality in the StudioNeo? Thank you
Hi!
I've heard that some folks use , an graphic enhacer. It seems to help to improve the graphic appeareance a lot. But if ya want to get an output, let's say, to get a video out of that enhaced screen, it will be the standard (not enhaced) graphic setup of studioneo.

render in higher resolution, I do rendered shots with 8K output (vram hungry tho, can crash on low memory graphics card and systems). It really can bring a much more detail from objects, clearly visible even if you will downscale it later to lower resolution. 1712426298885.png
You can set resolution lower and use upsampling ratio for same effect, however I just prefer higher res base for further post edit. Below some examples (non edited, raw rendered shot output)
concert_fox.jpg 4K over 1440p/1080p is already quite a gain and it's still not than hungry.

Then add some small volumetric light, can be just char one, not colliding with map, will add some density to picture.
Play with gamma, lift and gain in graphics mod to get most of dynamic range, can even tint them a bit to some color scheme, blueish lift and orange gain is simplest and most universal complementary color grade.

High diffuse setting bloom and some lens dirt can give some nice effects too

Has anyone used this reshade in Studio who is willing to comment on how good/bad it is? How much of a performance hit does it cause? It seems that it's main use case is in game, based on what I read. Does it offer sufficient enhancement for studio?
If it does offer a significant enough improvement, has anyone come across a way to get those improvements to export?

My bane has been, and still, is proper shadows so anything that might help with that is something I'd be interested in.
Opinions?

reshade by way it works will not be compatible with rendered screenshot option of screenshot manager, so personally I just prefer graphics mod for Studio. So you would manually had to disable UI and just do screenshot from screencap software on reshade one.

For the game it can be nice option, but you'd really need to look for what actually is worth there.
