I have used the Chara Export mod in studio, still saves the bulge effect...

The bulge is probably made via pregnancy mod. Go to the tab with character name / preferences / etc., and you should see a tab or two called "Pregnancy" and "Pregnancy+". Reset sliders there to default values and the bulge should disappear.
