I'm guessing most people are going to recommend you Daz Studio. I started learning to use it about three months ago without any previous experience on 3D modeling software whatsoever. It is quite intuitive and user-friendly. You still should learn basic stuff about the program and how to use it, though.

The program itself is free. But the assets it uses are not, following the so called freemium business model. You can get lots and lots of those assets for free, though, here or elsewhere.

As a complete 3D novice, I've been teaching myself DAZ3D over the past week, and have enjoyed it. There's alot to it, but there's tons of YouTube content, and guides on F95 to get the most out of the program. Here's a basic MC I made last night. All assets were obtained from F95.
