This character is one of Elin's friends, with whom they studied together at the magic tower. At Elin's request, they will arrive at the castle and receive royal protection while investigating the missing magicians in the west tower.

Which of these two designs would you like to see in the game?

Greetings everyone!

I recently started to rework & improve the English translation of Imperial Chronicles as a pet project of mine. With Lazy_Monkey 's blessing, I share the first part of the game (named Intro) with you in hopes of improving your gameplay experience and encouraging another replay!

In addition to the dialogue rework, missing scenes & dialogue was added, variable bugs fixed or cleaned up for a smoother and cleaner experience. This includes the "recap screens" which will also get fixed so that player choices are properly tracked & expressed.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy working on it! 0.1 is currently underway, and will be published soon!

P.S.: If I missed anything at all, please let me know, and I will fix it ASAP!

The instructions on how to install everything is contained within the files. Enjoy!

12-05-2025-UPDATE: Packaged all the files necessary in a neat little folder with clear instructions on how to easily install the improved script files + added 0.1 content! Going forward, this attached folder will be updated with newer releases as I finish them, as well as this post to let you guys know. Now featuring a Game Save naming option!

09-06-2025-UPDATE: Update 0.2 has been fully translated and fixed up! Thanks for being patient, but sometimes these things just take time. On that note, I have to unfortunately slow down this project significantly, as my main project is being picked up again. I will be a full-time script writer & coder for that one, so the translations will happen when they happen. If anyone wishes to contribute, feel free to DM me with your work so I can review it and maybe even incorporate it!

But don't worry, I've been making sure this sort of stuff never happens again: and it's hella of a bigger project than just a simple translation of the game . Stay tuned!

I am still far away from 1.0 being done, but I am working on a much more comprehensive "translation" of Imperial Chronicles at the moment, after I realized simply changing some English words around would not be enough to polish this game to perfection.

LM confirmed to me that the Queen will be getting more scenes, however, whether or not that means more h-scenes remains unclear.

I am confident he meant exactly h-scenes, as I believe he understands that the Love path needs a better scene before the timeskip - not because the quality of the scene itself is in question, but because it doesn’t accomplish the same narrative setup the Corruption version does (read: it accomplishes nothing for their relationship).

The Corruption scene ends with Elis and Seraphina establishing a new paradigm - they have embraced their sexual attraction, and have mutually agreed to this new step in their relationship.

The Love scene ends with Seraphina chastising him for feeling romantic love for her, and expresses regret for complying with his desires (sex)... the same way she's been acting since 0.6.

Absolutely nothing changed (except Elis got to finish inside her), and that's just frustrating after experiencing their bliss in the aftermath of the Corruption scene.

I don't even need a lewd scene between them in 1.1, just anything that progresses their relationship forward and sets a new paradigm for CH2.

I think a lewd scene where they fully acknowledge their sexual feelings for one another is almost mandatory to really hammer the idea home (in the love path). Chapter 2 should be them fully expressing it just like MC does with other girls.

Well, the main difference between the Love and Corruption paths is that Seraphina seems okay with being fuckbuddies with Elis, finally giving in to her desires and justifying it by saying they have a genetic disease that's making them act like that.

The Love path's aim seems to be to get Seraphina to admit she loves Elis like she would any other man she is attracted to - not just sexually, but as a romantic partner - a husband.
