Your sister can choose what to do but not you. I think it's a bad decision by the developer, if you let me choose the Li, let it be for the whole game. Not just with some characters.

You got the wrong idea again. I suggest you research royal and political marriages. Marriages between nobles are mostly done to gain political power. Especially if a lord succeeds in marrying the king's daughter, it gives him great political power, and believe me, these guys are more fond of power than pussy. I think you would be supprised by how many players that arent into forced stuff.

And in this game it just breaks the story when you put in a plot that only counts for a single person when others are doing 100% the same thing, plot wise that just dosent make any kind of sense, if its such a big and importen plot part then sister would be just as much a part of it as MC and had to do the same, its an alliance marriage not a marriage based on making a second heir, so the only reason shes not doing it is due to it being NTR which even more people hate then those that hate forced stuff, but that still makes the story and plot make 0 sense.

Yeah thats normaly how games are, its either a forced LI or a choice driven, doing both never works out unless its from the very start where an MC might have a wife or girlfriend or something, but so far into the game its a really bad choice from devs side.

While this situation may be similar to the way most devs will warn players of NTR in their games, this absolutely should not be a standard, just a courtesy - a courtesy that devs do not actually owe us.

In fact, it's nice to be treated like a person with capacity for higher thinking: no bullshit, and if you're naive in making choices, you get punished.

This game made it clear from the start that MC will have to marry in order to eventually become king. And since the MC didn't lay the pipe on his sister or mother yet out of fear of narrative consequences, it's obvious LM is taking a more realistic approach to medieval fantasy... as ironic as that may sound.

I just think if you want to avoid the potential of forced LIs you should not play harem games, it's where it's most likely to happen because the let every player make every choice branching scales up really really fast in them. Generally speaking you're seeking mono paths anyway, there's a ton of games here that focus on that.
