Alaina literally can't blackmail him with that information in the first place. It incriminates herself the most. What she's going to tell everyone by snitching on him? That he's not the rightful heir and that the only reason he's on the throne is because of elven intervention. They're just going to point the finger right back at her and group her with all other elves. Blackmail only works when the blackmailer is in the position of power. Alaina very much wasn't in the position of power.

You're really not giving Alaina enough credit here. How and why, would she not just leave out the parts of "Elven Intervention"? and instead just make up some bullshit other rumor that leaves her looking clean as a whistle and casts doubt on Elis father. All it takes is her desire to do so.

The reason Alaina told Elis that in the first place was to convey how far she went for him. Since he had doubts. She didn't have to tell him shit, really. If she was against him. Just like how Cass didn't tell Elis anything if he didn't follow her requests enough.

It was plain as day to see that she was clearly losing control of the situation due to the whole thing with Conrad, and Elis was starting to doubt her more and more. That's the only reason she revealed anything. Because she was threatened, and was losing control. And I don't think anybody has ever said "she was against him" unless I'm mistaken? it's that she's trying to puppet him and control him from the shadows. Again, Elis says as much if you pick the path against her. So it's a potential canon feeling Elis can have towards her, that the Dev himself has realised.

We legitimately see on screen humans killing pregnant elven women for fun. Killing children and everything. Anyone who actually believes that humans are somehow saints in this game are delusional. There's no good sides in this story.

I'm not really sure Isis would represent the human path. She says this update that southerners are treated almost as badly as elves are. And the whole vision with the daughter made it sound like her bloodline is special somehow and feels like a rival to the starhead blood. Isis kind of feels like a conqueror everyone kind of thing

Dang, so from what I am hearing here the Love path got short changed again with the queen. I stopped playing mid way through, cause I had problems with some of the pathing choices and locked scenes based on class, but was excited to give this another chance.

But I guess not. If Lazy_Monkey doesn't care about the Love path and can't give if equal treatment, why should I care. He obviously only cares about Lust path. Its just mood killing and sucks all enjoyment, cause I want love path, but when he shows favoritism, what's the point.

He should just remove love path all together if this is what he planned to do. Just very letdown that the dev doesn't seem to care.

The only issue still remains is that the Love path doesn't have any foreseeable reward for being patient - Seraphina gets pregnant on all paths, so why not just go Lust path and get all those sweet nasty scenes with her from the start of the game? Before 1.1, I assumed that the Love path would have Seraphina agree to bear your children, but evidently, her pregnancy is unavoidable no matter the path, so the Love path simply doesn't have any advantage over the Lust path - she even talks more about getting pregnant on the Lust path than the Love path (even if she actively asks for MC to cum inside her, compared to "panicking" about creampies on the Lust path).

When I see this, the different paths and choices of last chapter... Maybe there is a different answer depending on path.
The who and why changes, we see multiple dimensions after all. White, Red and Green are general directions, but I don't think it locks you in.

First tail is Lady Alaina, she planned it and represent Elves. However I feel she might not be the only one here, Elin, might also fit here, and her behavior is becoming more and more Cass if you sleep with her. Mother also is somewhat shady.

Wrapped around the throne is Conrad, or potentially Isis. Human path I would say.

Cass is the DAGGER over the crown more than anything, the tool, the weapon. Regardless I feel this is the neutral path. She is not neutral, however she keeps the west on their toes, maybe even the elves and she wants the Empire, an Empire where she has considerable stake in it. She dying just opens up for another dagger to take her spot, west troubles?

I do wonder how the Moon fits in (mysterious lady ?), maybe it's none of them or all.
Many visions, many questions, a curse of not knowing and multiple entities trying to impact you. Which might explain your King's attempt to hold on to the throne, to protect you from technically being the king/emperor and thus be inflicted by a curse?

I don't think Alaina would be content with status quo or better yet a concord where Elves would be at a disadvantage, she is too much of a nationalist for that. Prince is Elin's first lover, on top of that she is naive and in love with Elis since childhood. In a way, you're her whole world. Even the reason she decides to become a mage was the Prince. In any case, I don't really think she means any harm to those innocent souls.

Cass is a control freak, not power-hungry. She is smart enough to know that she can't partake in ruling the empire without you, I mean whole coup was designed over the possibility that you would agree to it. Under the overconfident and sarcastic facade lies an insecure girl, thats why she goes extreme. That said, however extreme she goes, ruling an empire on her own is not one of them.

I don't consider -for now- Moon as a deity but a source of power in the grand scheme of things. There are *beings that want to break the cycles and ones that want to protect it. Moon, as an object, has taken place with the ones that want to break the cycle like Selina and Mysterious Woman.

I wasn't really speaking about the fact that we can kill her. I was more speaking about the killing its self. You know, doming the fuck out of her with a metal cup is a bit out there when it comes to killing from what I've seen at least.

And I disagree, we will never have any idea of what she was going to say if that scene went on for longer, or what she was going to reveal. As Elis kind of abruptly just brutalizes the fuck out of her. I can't imagine she had time to think much after that.

And I'm not sure why people keep bringing up this "she was never against Elis" thing as a plus to her. Well, obviously she wasn't. As he was still her little puppet creation. Answer me this honestly. If Elis lets her live and starts doing things that are not entirely to the benefit of the Elves. Do you think she would do nothing and still be with him? or start trying to put the screws to him and get him to move in that direction?

Cmon dude...She straight up masterminded a way that she could be in control of him for most of his childhood into young adulthood. She could have done whatever she wanted with him. It's just that she figured a mostly hands off approach was the way to go earlier on. And she could just keep him cooking in the north on very little information. Until he was ready, and she could use him. Slight MISTAKE on her part IMO.

With the queen I feel like it's just how you prefer the queen to act in their scenes. It doesn't need any real benefit. Imo even though I vastly preferred the scenes on the list route both this chapter and last chapter. I disliked how annoyed Sera was at the whole thing. It's just sex because she can't get off with Elis around and otherwise she wouldn't consider it.

What do you mean. You mean if you don't choose her? I feel like that dangerous. I fully believe that Isis is completely on the MC's side, but she's on the mcs side but that's only because you married her and she wants to essentially do what Cass does and be his advisor. Aurora is kind of a pushover so I could see Elis maybe getting a chance to rape her if you don't pick her. But I feel like Isis would be more likely to kill Elis for rejecting her.

If it were up to me, I would introduce the "4 wives and 3 concubines" system like in ancient China.
I wish we had the choice of establishing a harem, like in the light novel where the hero, Rational, rebuilds the kingdom, where one of the kings of Elfriden decided that a harem is the best option, and he doesn't need to worry about hiding a concubine from his wife. Especially since in medieval France, there was a position of official favorite at court. It's a shame that MC can't act like Kazuya, whose every marriage is also political, even his younger concubines, like Nonna Domna, are important political figures. Nonna's grandmother is one of the three dukes of the kingdom and an admiral of the fleet.

Seems like it will be relegated to "flavor" of the scenes only... which is... whelming? On one hand, we have a story that already has 3 "major" characters that can be either alive or dead/killed, but having Lust vs Love paths be different in their consequences is apparently too much?

Also, Seraphina on the Lust path is becoming ever more frustrated at her growing desire for sex, because it keeps overpowering her rational mind - she has riskier & riskier sex with her own son, and (as far as the player knows), gets impregnated by him while in a precarious position; we all forgot to stop and think how LM plans to explain Seraphina getting pregnant when the king is incapacitated. Elin at least has the cover of her marriage with Lockhart, Ophelia is too sick to carry a child to term, but Seraphina is completely fucked once she starts showing... hence her frustration. At least on the Love path, she doesn't seem to care about the consequences, and may even be excited to become a mother again - even if it is by her own son.

You know. I chose the option to maintain the status quo. Because Lady Alaina and Conrad will still be rivals and will control each other. P.S. I like Vel. If I had the chance, I would take her as a concubine and declare the children from this union dukes. And I would give the elves territory for settlement, create a vassal elven kingdom and start recruiting a personal guard from the elves (hello, the Swiss Guard of the French kings) and declare that this branch of his family has no rights to the throne. This is to prevent the precedent of the House of Valois-Burgundy.

I need more Arcadia, Josephine, Priscilla, Valeria and even more Sera in Chapter 2. Since Una kind of grew on me. I want some of her too. Basically, I need to plan a trip to the west.

It's actually kind of crazy on the pregnancy front now. Since we know Val was accounted for. That means Lockhart is going to be shocked when he finds out his mom and sister-in-law is pregnant. The same with Valerian finding out about his mom. If Sera and Elin are starting to show signs. Sera only being two weeks and Elin around a month or two. The women in the west are definitely feeling it as well.

That's why I need to know if there's going to be a major time skip for Chapter 2 or brief transitions in time to show the progress of the main women. I don't think it's going to skip the birth of Elis first set of children. And since a month was directly mentioned. I think that's the timeframe of the first minor skip.

This is what interests me the most, too. Initially, I thought the timeskip might be just a few months for whatever reason, but now that basically half the girls are pregnant, having them involved in the plot while waddling around with big bellies seems... troubling.

Either we get exactly that, or the timeskip for CH2 is longer, set right after all the children are born (with maybe a small prologue showing the pregnancies). Hard to say, because LM did kinda imply he would give us a chance to interact with all the women we get pregnant while they're pregnant.

What do you mean 'no'? You can literally avoid having sex with her, and she won't get pregnant. This means there's a specific story path where she doesn't get pregnant. By choosing that, you basically skip any future scenes involving her kids.
