Incredible update overall honestly! SO MANY things happening that can be discussed. But some keypoints.

It was so cool to get a look into the past with The Red Emperor and his council. He's actually becoming more and more of a kind hero now for me ngl. MY EMPEROR.

Small suggestion though. I think this game could really do with a proper world map at some point IMO. It would really help tie it all together, and help the player be able to get a feel for the world and to visualize things a lot better.

I also love how much of a 'boss bitch' Elis is while performing his duties on the throne, and just in general with people. The whole scene with Elin and Sera, explaining to them why you murdered the shit out of Alaina was perfect honestly too. Elis really mirrored my thoughts on the matter. He's honestly moving higher and higher in my all time AVN MCs list.

I've also found another member for my 'Let's fucking murder the Elves' gang in the form of Laggarius. Him and Lord Guidon are going to be wonderful helpers in my genocidal goals. Just need to find a few more "good bois" and I can make the Anti-Elven Avengers Like I've always wanted.

I just checked and you're right. For some reason, grok sometimes decided to skip verbs and nouns for no reason in this segment. I don't know why. I'll try to fix it.

(also, I progressed further, broken language is alas present in a ton of places :/ Looks like the LLM tried to do the shortest possible sentences for some reasons, even if it had to butcher language)

I tried loading old save with the full version of the game and it works. It only shows error when I use the compressed version.

Finished my first playthrough of the update. It was on my Isis save so I didn't get much action. However, the update was good. More lore heavy this time around. I'll just leave it at that for now. I got to get around to reworking this playthrough when I get the chance.

Now that I finished that one. I'll do my main next. By the way, I have no problems with my saves. As I'm typing this, my main and Isis saves are working fine. Just for clarity though. I don't use mods or anything while I play this game. Just the game and patch is about it.

You mind uploading your save before the update? For some reason I can't load old save and I don't want to start all over again. Would be a big help to me and others who have the same issue.

For people having save issues, it's because you used the multimod on the previous update. Just install the mod again even if it's the .11a version and load your save. It should work and let you continue. This happens every new update.

try deepl, imo its the best ai translator but probably even google translate would be better than what was in this update

edit: worst part is the cass/prison dialogue after that the baby being born scene also needs a revision on the translation and finally the father flashbacks also have some dialogues that look weird

An update heavily leans on politics and prophecy, translation; like always sucks ass, halves the quality of the mentioned topics certainly. Then again I have been playing this since its early versions so my mind adapted to filling the gaps somehow.

It seems writing in general got an update. I liked the flasback of Red Emperor, talk with the imprisoned Cass (fix route) and valley topic is written very well.

Elin, despite accepting our reasons every time never completely surrenders to it. Getting more and more jealous each update. I fear impregnation of other characters -besides the side chars- will fuel her jealousy further. Or at some point she will surrender completely. I wonder if Love/ Lust divergence will have any effect on it.

Lia has the weakest arc among all, I wonder if LM will be ever able to turn it around.

Queen's pregnancy concluded kinda hasty but otherwise story would branch unnecessarily so no complaint.

And prophecy... my fav topic ngl. Been a sucker for it all my livehood. It seems, important ones -like Blood Visions- will thrive or conclude in Cycle/ Starhead prophecy, as it has become the main prophecy for now imo.

I liked the scenes in flashbacks, especially the ones included Lothric was pretty cool. Lewd scenes was... pretty meh? They were short and uncreative on the part of position variancy and most importantly: LM being stubborn about the camera positioning is a big mystery to me. We saw Elis's ass more than boobs at this point. Maybe we have a secret foid fanclub here, lurking in the shadows.

All that being said: It seems we have a long road ahead of us. Everything is in motion, nothing is concluded. For now. Goodnight lads. I'll call in sick probably, can't go to job with 1 hrs o sleep can I?

But am I the only one who finds these AI-generated "inserts" way too rough/cringy and honestly pointless? If they just replace a static scene, mb they not needed?

Greetings everyone!

I recently started to rework & improve the English translation of Imperial Chronicles as a pet project of mine. With Lazy_Monkey 's blessing, I share the first part of the game (named Intro) with you in hopes of improving your gameplay experience and encouraging another replay!

In addition to the dialogue rework, missing scenes & dialogue was added, variable bugs fixed or cleaned up for a smoother and cleaner experience. This includes the "recap screens" which will also get fixed so that player choices are properly tracked & expressed.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy working on it! 0.1 is currently underway, and will be published soon!

P.S.: If I missed anything at all, please let me know, and I will fix it ASAP!

The instructions on how to install everything is contained within the files. Enjoy!

12-05-2025-UPDATE: Packaged all the files necessary in a neat little folder with clear instructions on how to easily install the improved script files + added 0.1 content! Going forward, this attached folder will be updated with newer releases as I finish them, as well as this post to let you guys know. Now featuring a Game Save naming option!

09-06-2025-UPDATE: Update 0.2 has been fully translated and fixed up! Thanks for being patient, but sometimes these things just take time. On that note, I have to unfortunately slow down this project significantly, as my main project is being picked up again. I will be a full-time script writer & coder for that one, so the translations will happen when they happen. If anyone wishes to contribute, feel free to DM me with your work so I can review it and maybe even incorporate it!

09-11-2025-UPDATE: I proudly present - the first BETA build of my (still work-in-progress) Imperial Chronicles REMAKE project. Currently, the content offered is limited to 0.5 (meaning, the story up until the Coup starts), but I wanted to collect feedback on what I've been doing right... and what I've done wrong.

Hi. Here is version 0.12. I hope you enjoy it. This time I tried to keep a balance between the plot and additional events.

I've slightly trimmed the size of the images from previous updates, so the size of the final version 0.12 does not differ from 0.11, but don't worry - the size of the update is the same as usual. I added a couple of animations from AI right on the last day of development. They turned out to be in very low quality. Suggest good websites./software for video upscaling.

I'm a week behind schedule again, for which I scold myself a lot and apologize to you.

P.S. As usual, I have a very slow upload speed, so I'm attaching only one link here, and the aggregators like f95 helped me with the rest. You can also use other aggregators that you trust.

PS - Please don't ask me about the android version. I don't create it (because I don't know how), it's usually done by people who are interested in it a few days/weeks after the update is released.
