The face she is making doesn't say "this is a joke" at all. MC answer is "stop it, i'm afraid"From what I can recall, Cass only says the whole "I'll maim you." line only twice, once when her and MC reunite for the first time when his exile/banishment ends, and second time when MC was watching Aker and his uncle spar.
But I found the instances of when she says that to be playful, meant to be more of a test towards the MC (and also the player
Similar effect to Luna being "Didn't I kill you before." or other comments that some people playing that game found offputting; though I had no issue with them at all.
I think Lazy_Monkey will really develop Cass's character so there's a lot more to her than what is seen on the surface level (classic case of "Don't judge a book by its cover.") like HopesGaming did with Luna for DeLuca, especially if the player is on Cass's path.
But I guess time will tell.

Too complicated with too many variables and paths. I find myself missing entire scenes and am wondering if something I miss on update #1 will affect the game later on.
While I understand the need for choices and different paths, said choices should not close off scenes and storyline

Above 2 encounters are scenes of what happened in my Cass-focused path where she comes off as "threatening" lol.
Dunno what happens if the player dislikes her character and just makes choices which pisses her off at every turn (haven't tried such a route cause I got zero interest in it); who knows, in that case, maybe you're right and she may literally try to kill your MC. And in that case, I wouldn't blame her

She appears to try and sabotage you if her mood is under 1. that is bad a thing.
You can still interact with her, but in a better way.
She is also whispering bad things about you in father's ear.

My wishes are not addressed to the developer, I don't even know if he looks here. Just expressing my thoughts about future of character I like. Just like you can write something like: I hope mc will fuck mom soon. And its ok.

I didn't know about that, I guess it depends on several choices you make in the game (I did saw her talking to the king, no idea what she wanted).
I didn't suggest anyone to the king for the last council seat. I don'tknow if the king brother (our bodyguard) is really an ally of Cass or if she was suggesting it for us to chose Aker (I don't trust him either, feels like a mercenary that could be bought)

Hi. There were more bugs than I thought, but I hope this version is playable. Initially, I planned to finish it in exactly 2 months, but through my own fault I delayed it. Next time I will try to meet this deadline.
This version is a landmark for me as it is the official end of the introduction to the game. All the following updates will be named and dedicated to a specific event in the game universe. For example, the Royal Wedding) In this update, I also tried to make the most free choice at the end. I would really like to receive feedback on this topic. Do you like such an "umbrella" system, where most of the choices are concentrated at the end of the update, or would you prefer that the choices were distributed evenly?

P.s. - one of the events may not work due to a bug fixed in this update. And I also fixed a bug with "kneeling."So it's best to start the update with a quick skip from this scene.

I didn't expect much from grainy renders, 100 folders of audio files with fluctuating volume, and a janky translation.
The story/characters/writing are pretty great though.
Really immersive, believable world that isn't just "uwu let's have sex bro!".
I'd say this belongs on page 1, if it wasn't so unpolished.
Anyway, really looking forward to marry Cass and murder everyone she doesn't like.

Early in the game King planned double marriage -1) Main hero and one of the couple of princesses (Aurora, Isis); 2) Elin and Lochart (Son of the West lord).

It is not entire clear but it SOUNDS like father's plan is to have a double wedding of:
1. MC + one of the two visiting princesses (southern and northern).
2. sister and the rich horse guy who is obsessed with astrology.
there is in character uncertainty on whether it is going to be 1, 2 or both. with hints towards both
Can you stop the weddings at all, not really into any of the choices for the MC and really hate the douche who the sister is supposed to marry

I don't know if Dev lurks here but here is my feedback:
This really is a strange questions. Basically you ask if placing options is more important than the plot. If the plot demands relevant options at the middle of chapter, then put those at there. Now, I understand that it is rather silly to start the chapter with the most pressing option, and in general the relevancy of options should accumulate up to momentum of the story. When the climax occurs, it should be resting upon previously made decisions.
