Hey Dev, I really enjoyed this game so far. Thanks for making it, I think you're doing a great job!
The argument with the faux Adeptus Mechanicus front desk member makes this game worth it already if you are, willingly or unwillingly involved with bureaucracy and organization power games.
The decadent society ruled by oppresive, corrupt, sluggish and inefficient bureacracy where the only chance for the intelligent and hard working but poor and/or unconnected people is to become a cog in said bureacracy, having to deal with all the corrupt idiots inside which were able to join only because of corruption, is perfectly captured here. The Imperium Eterna approves.
I think a corruption-meter would be a great addition to the game, hidden or not, representing Chaos corruption by decisions which are wrong in the eyes of the Emperor, progressively influencing the game conversations and outcomes.

The Abhorrent Thinking Machines have proven quite useful... I am seduced by their power, I can no longer really call myself an artist. Something different, something evolved, something modern in all its horror.
The AI stuff is here to stay, I'm afraid. All the not-a-background stuff can be reverted to the original non-AI version, at least.
Fuck yes. I played DE exactly once, years ago, at the sickest point in my entire life, and it fried my brain and permanently rewired my neurons to the point where I can capture its vibe even today.

I swear, I haven't uploaded any new viruses to my game since the last update. Ren'Py games constantly trigger false positives, something in the python scripting...
For peace of mind, though: I downloaded the file off GoFile, ran it through VirusTotal.

Only 2/43 vendors flag as malicious. The first, Jiangmin, has many google results about false positives and isn't highly regarded; the second, Kingsoft, I also found this recent Renpy startup file run through VirusTotal that shows Kingsoft flagging it for the same exact (nonexistent) "trojan".
