Err... the dev said on his patreon that he won't be able to do a thing until at least mid December, so I'm honestly not sure what kind of news you were expecting.

He doesnt have a discord. All news is either from here or from Patreon, and he already stated he wouldnt be back for at least another 1-2 weeks.

I apologize for the long hiatus.
As probably most of you guessed something went wrong. I would rather not talk about it here, but it's been a very shitty year for me so far.
I'm at the moment unable to work and to get access to Imperium until at least mid-December so I would encourage you to desactivate the pledge for December. When I come back all post will be public for a month. I understand if you wanna get a refund for your pledge of November so contact me via PM (I might not respond until mid-december).

Hopefully any day now. If this internet company pushes back the schedule again I dont know what to think. I dont know any utility company that would reschedule 3 times in a row and miss every single appointment.
From what he posted earlier, we should have a guaranteed update. He posted back in mid december he already had an update ready but with lack of internet post move, he would keep working on future updates. I expect a substantial amount of content as its been over 2 weeks since that initial finished update.

Been honest that story sound's an little bit funny to me. those companies usually can't wait to get new customers....
I just hope he comes back soon, he had an good start, and seemed to know where the game was going looking forward to it.

No comcast in our city. We had Charter Cable which turned into Charter Spectrum. They've been nothing but great. They don't even enforce their 250GB monthly cap. I must have downloaded at least 1 TB on multiple instances and I haven't received any letters or warnings.
Wow, you guys in the states don't have unlimited data plan for the internet? Comcast service sounds horrible. And even letters of warnings?? I thought we're living in the 21st century.

The states are weird. The entire country spans a continent and there are huge swathes of land that have little better than dial up still. Its much easier to build infrastructure when the country is small and the population is concentrated. There is also a more monopoly based system in play here. See, each city doesnt have the same internet provider. One city might have comcast, one city might have charter, etc. The city signs a deal basically saying only this company can provide this. So you basically have the choice of going with satelite dish, the cablecompany, or a phone comany. If you dont like the specific choices available, you have to move to another city. And if you live in bumfuck nowhere, you might be paying 80$ a month for internet that can barely pass as early 2000 DSL with no other alternatives.
I asked which timezone the creator was in (a while back) and they said CEST which I'm guessing is somewhere in EU. Either way, I'm guessing the internet company did not show up on Saturday and will show up on Tuesday and hope we get the update then. If not, at least the creator says something to inform us why there is another delay.
