In an NTR/Netorase/Cuckold game (male protagonist), would you want to turn off interracial content?

The purpose of this poll is to see how many people prefer non-interracial to interracial content in an ntr, cuckold, netorase adult visual novel game.

For anyone questioning the validity of this poll, this poll will be exposed to people via my signature and I tend to make lots of posts on ntr threads. So a lot of NTR fans will see this post. It will help give me an idea if people want to enable or disable interracial content in an netorare, cuckold, netorase game.

Also, if anyone wants to share ideas to avoid racism in these types of games, please share. I don't want the game to be racist against whites or blacks, but rather treat both groups with respect. In porn both white male pornstars and black male porn stars are popular, both having huge dicks, and I want the game to reflect that truth.

I would suggest, as I've said plenty of times I think, to avoid the "Black thug" stereotype. Literally any game I've played with a Black character is super cringy because it comes off like he was written by someone who has had no exposure to Black people. All of them are the same person wearing different but also oddly similar clothes that scream "Look I'm a Black guy." I would say to treat them like White characters, meaning, you write them as people who just happen to be Black. This especially sticks out in games that attempt to have story with any kind of characterization. The White characters have personalities (although not always super complex) but 9/10 times it just gets phoned in with Black characters and they act either like Black bulls from 80's porn, or out-of-date rapper stereotypes. Even if you do decide to make Black Black characters, even that can be done with more nuance than what a lot of these other games have. I'm glad I've never encountered any Asian dudes in games or I would be dead. Seeing the way other non-White people get the hammer makes me pray to Odin for continued lack of representation.

As for the option to disable it...I mean, I wouldn't, but I can also see the reason for doing it. A lot of times in these types of games everything is fine until a Black character shows up and the comments are highkey racist full of complaints. Maybe just make it optional? But good luck regardless, because if you're making an NTR themed game, you better be prepared for whining either way. People will see it in the tag and still hit you with the "But I don't want to share (" instead of moving on.

I don't play all that many male protag games and of those that I do only a few have NTR plus I don't see NTR like guys do, i'm only here to see hot women fuck so content isn't that much of an issue. If i'm playing romance i'ts mainly lesbian so this is purely a personal preference when it comes to what i'm looking at rather than the games sexual content.

With all that said I don't have anything against seeing any race fucking.

When it comes to guys I don't really care, none of them are appealing sexually so as long as the woman i'm watching is enjoying herself it's all good.

As for women, I tend to lean towards the exotic. My girlfriends family on her mothers side is Spanish so she has a slightly tanned look that gets me insanely jealous being as pale as I am. She can pull off dresses that would look terrible on my bright white body.

I do find darker skin incredibly sexy but I also find Asian features to be sexy.

Whenever there is an interracial component in games like that, it's usually lazy and basic. "Bully" is a great example of that. All the women are like, "obviously the black male is superior in every way" and it just comes across as weird and racist. Like, they don't even attempt to explain why, just mean it to be taken as a given, lol. It just makes me think the developer and/or writer are dealing with some insecurities about themselves. By the way, black guys only have bigger dinks on average. The average white dink is about 5 inches long, average black dinks are about 6. Really not a big deal.

I feel the same way about those Russian devs, they always have this theme of feminism being out of control and suppressing men. It's kind of pathetic. It's in practically all of them. Russian men are really insecure about that apparently.

Interracial's great when done well, but I second the suggestion to avoid racist stereotypes. I'd love to administer some sort of truth serum to everyone who downloaded Acting Lessons and assumed that Liam was going to be the exact opposite of what he actually was. That's the pernicious effect of the stereotypes. In any case, if one absolutely must give the black character an enormous dick (which I suppose, for the purposes of NTR, is all too tempting), at least strip away all the other racialized trappings. Just make him a character like any other. Or her, if it's going that way.

That said, people can be really odd about this. In the thread for The Adventurous Couple, I admit to being taken aback by one respondent who was vehemently against Anne being "forced" to have sex with black people on any non-faithful route. That she'd already done so earlier in the game without the player being able to avoid it — and that one of her college boyfriends was black — was apparently irrelevant; if she even touched a black dude later in the game said respondent vowed that he was going to rage-quit. It was baffling, frankly.

I'd personally rather not choose the race of the male involved because that feels more realistic to me. It seems a bit racist how often these games immediately jump to "Lets bring in the black guy" but if the guy happens to be black, I don't have a problem with that. I don't really have strong feelings about it whether the male is black or not black. I suppose games can always benefit from an 'options' type page where you can turn off any fetishes you don't like though, but I dislike when games throw things in my face basically telling me to decide if the male is going to be black or white. Can't it just be a surprise?

I would LOVE to play a game where the MC is a black male facing racism, facing stereotypes, the whole 9 yards and through it all, you have to find a way to overcome, all the while you have to deal with police officers racial profiling. I'm glad you brought this up. At first I was going to let the player choose, but I came to the conclusion that making it a surprise would be better, like you said. If you can come up with some natural ways to keep the surprise, let me know.

Nah man. Just being realistic with what I see every single day in my neighborhood. Growing up, all my friends in middle school through high school went through these things as well. To some of us, it isn't racist... to some of us, it's just the way things are and how life is. To some people it may seem like a racial stereotype, but to others, it's a fact of life.

I mean I feel like a simple way to keep the surprise might be to sort of 'feel out' the player in earlier parts of the game. You could include a scene involving a black guy either just being around or in a sexual situation (Which is way more obvious though) and give the player the ability to react. This might not 'decide' that the partner WILL be black, but it could decide that the partner WONT be black if they choose one of the options you deemed as "not friendly" towards blacks or an interracial relationship. That could operate as sort of a 'soft' choice. Having lots of other story related choices in the game could also help mask important choices like that as just another 'pointless' choice so the player is less likely to predict the results of their decision.

You could have it be a friend that causes the situation. Or even a relative of said friend. So, say you bring your GF or wife out to hang with your friend to celebrate some situation or just to meet him because he arrived back in town, and beforehand you choose to give him a call. But who is he? Decide like this: You choose his number through the phone's contact list and his picture is there. From there it can be either him who kicks off the NTR stuff, or if you don't want to have a bad friend character, you have him bring a plus one (his brother, uncle, dad, (grandpa if you're nasty haha).

It means viewing sexual interracial acts. If if you disabled it, it wouldn't remove poc from the game, instead it'd prevent the player from seeing any kind of sexual interracial action. Any option that could lead to interracial sex would be turned off, so the player wouldn't even see those options. If there's public interracial sex going on, the player wouldn't be exposed to it if they disabled interracial content. The toggle would basically be for people who are not into interracial content of a sexual nature.

In that case, the very premise of the question is biased. The idea of making interracial something to turn on / off is, implicitly, biased towards the idea that non-interracial sex is "normal".

Furthermore, I don't think respondents here understood the way you phrased the question. I had originally interpreted it as:
- Yes, I want the ability to disable interracial content in games.
- No, I don't think games should have the ability to disable interracial content.

After reading your comment further, I realize this is not what the poll asked, which is why I changed my vote to "other".

I don't want games to have the ability to disable interracial content mostly for selfish reasons. I would always want to view the interracial content, and I don't want the dev's time wasted on a feature I wouldn't use.

There are clearly many racial biases in porn, and even more in adult games. For instance, how many games have black MCs? Even so, I actually am not advocating for true equal representation here - people make the sort of games they want to play, and if someone wants to make a game with a black MC there's nothing preventing them from doing that.
