The kicker is, I did. I tried downloading both versions and still no luck. I purchased through DLSite in all cases, but as I said before, if I'm missing something, I don't know what it is.

Of the base game downloads, you want this file: RJ01003844.zip

When extracting the DLC into the game's folder, the resulting files should look like this:

After launching the game and getting to the title menu, it should look like this:


For best experience, extract using WinRAR with the filename encoding set to Shift-JIS by default.

To set this as the default, click "Options" in the menu, click "Name Encoding", click 932, click "Options" again, click "Name Encoding" again, and click Save Current.

I've found that this lets any Japanese game work properly with only having the Japanese language pack installed.

Question for ya, do you have really large English font in in-game menus? Mine all seem to be really big and I'm not sure why or it if was patched in a later version of the game.

That's normal. The English AI translation of v1.18 had the sizes and positions adjusted, but the new translation method in the DLC seems to not account for the need to adjust text size and position yet.

In other words, while the translation support is significantly better now, the text size and positions are still that of the Japanese text, resulting in the English text being too big and incorrectly positioned.

I was able to get the cursed items to activate like this. From my testing, I used stimulants on Nirvana and started using her abilities. I got red text from the cursed items doing lewd things to her and eventually this animation in the screenshot plays out.

The game stays JP despite deleting the settings.json, but replacing the most recently shared save with the dlb005Savedata000 of the same working english version swapped it from JP to EN for me

Such a weird issue.

As long as the base game is the JP version, then the translations in the DLC should work without issue.

At least, that's been my experience (though I did buy the game and DLC myself)

And speaking of the translations in the DLC, why did the dev decide to handle the translation system the way they did when the game engine already has one builtin?

2. Extract v1.18 to the target folder (eg: F:\Eronest)
3. Extract the DLC to the same target folder (eg: F:\Eronest), allowing all overwrites.
4. Launch the game.

I recommend not using saves from a previous version (including from before any DLC being installed) to prevent any issues (such as the language switching not working)

Also keep in mind that the language switching requires a game relaunch before it takes effect.

You need to have all 4 lewd accesories on, and the urethral and clitoris slime parasite.

Then, your character needs to get aroused (using potions for example)

I figured it out. For some reason setting voice volume bar to its midpoint heavily distorts everything. I think it increments from 0%->100%->200%
