My Thoughts on Inanna Revenge [Ep.2] by AtemX Games
I played and really liked the dev’s previous game
AlwaysFan, so I figured I’d give this one a shot too — and I wasn’t disappointed.
A lot of what made
AlwaysFan enjoyable is still here. Choices matter. You decide how your relationships evolve and how the content plays out. Like NTS? Pick it. Not your thing? Avoid it. Want to be gentle and caring with your LI? You can. Prefer a dominant or even rough approach? That’s an option too. Even when dealing with enemies, you can go full vengeance mode or take the high road and forgive. It’s all up to you.
One of the things I appreciate most about AtemX’s games is how appealing the LIs are. They're cute, sexy, passionate, and at times obedient — in a way that fits the tone of the story. You’re actually motivated to pursue them, which isn’t always the case in VNs.
That said,
Inanna Revenge introduces some supernatural elements that I wasn’t fully sold on. For example, Sylvia — who I see as my main LI — ends up magically bound to the MC through a slave mark. On top of that, we learn she was trained to please her "owner" through sex. This raises a major question: is her affection for the MC real? Or is it just a result of the magical bond and her conditioning? That uncertainty stayed in the back of my mind throughout the first two updates (yeah, I’ve got trust issues

). I’d really like to see that dynamic explored more in future updates.
Another thing that bugged me is the points system tied to choices. You’ve got two main metrics: relationship points with potential LIs, and the MC’s character score based on how you treat others — whether you’re being ruthless or compassionate. The character score isn’t cumulative either; it’s a sliding scale. Gaining points in one direction (say, being more ruthless) directly subtracts from the other (compassionate), which makes it even harder to access certain scenes unless you commit hard to one personality path. The same goes for LI relationships — miss a few key points and you’re locked out of content. Even at just two updates in, I’ve already hit those walls a few times.
That creates a weird conflict: do I play the MC how I
want to? Or do I “game” the system to access scenes I don’t want to miss? Having to make that kind of trade-off is distracting and honestly a bit frustrating.
All that said — the game is still fun and there’s definitely a lot of potential here. If you liked
AlwaysFan, you’ll probably enjoy this too — just be ready to save often, or you might end up missing content you didn’t know you were locking yourself out of.
Rating: 4/5 stars — Really enjoyed the game overall. Choices matter, and there’s a lot of potential here. If those rough edges get polished in future updates, this rating will easily go up to a full 5 stars!
