Japanese artists have brain worms. This isn't even the first time I've seen this happen. My guess is that he wanted to break away from doing licensed characters and switch to OCs, and he decided it would be easiest to have a fresh identity for that. His new account began activities almost the same day that his old account stopped. He's doing the same content in the same style. If it's not him I will, metaphorically speaking, eat my hat.

If he didn't delete his main account I guess this one is his "backdoor" account. Maybe he will go back to his main account and will have two patreons like other artists.
