Ya in the Patreon post titled "New Scene Selector", Fallen Eros goes on about the changes and strokes his own ego in the process, but there are two bits of information in the post that are important. The first is, "I still have the May 18th deadline in mind, but excuse me if it takes more than that." The second is, "This scene selector will be included as part of the Gallery Patch for Mega Fan members and above. This is designed for PC at the moment." This means, like you said, papywavy, that it is locked behind a paywall, and not just a paywall but fallen eros's two highest and most profitable ones (mega fan and VIP fan), and all that money for what? A user interface and game mechanics update, not even new story or art. Also, the part at the end where it's only for PC players, which screws over a big-ish chunk of his fans.

making people pay for a function that most H games have is insane to me, and the HIGHEST tier on top of it???. this is EA level of greed
Not just that, it's content that was released to everybody and they removed.
I can somewhat get being annoyed at leaks and trying DRMs as a result, but removing content to paywall it to the highest tiers is next step greed.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Install_Game: The fact that in the previous versions of the game you could freely go back and replay the scenes and story you had unlocked using either the drop-down menu of the flow button or the C.G. gallery and scene gallery, whereas now you get a pop-up message saying you need to upgrade using the gallery patch, is, as you said, next-step greed; however, I and some others on F95Zone would call it levels of greed that outdo E.A.
