After reading the comments on here, in my personal opinion I think you should continue doing Indigo Lane, I know your worried and scared about getting sued for making this game, but the chance of that happening is one and a million chances.

Yes some people got threated by some companies by doing parody of there games like this, but Azur Lane is from Chinese Companies if they want to sued you they have to come to the US to do that if you live here that is which is protected by fair use for parody that is, which is just a huge waste of time for them for something so small in there eyes, you're not a big enough of threat in there eyes to go after you for this.

But if this your choice I understand and accepted it, I'm sorry if this come off as mean or selfish that not my intent here, if you still unsure if you want to continue this or not how about making a polls to decide or how about asking the other dev on here who done parody games of existence franchise if they have encounter threats of copyright form different companies using there franchise?

One more thing sorry for anyone who was reading this if my punctuation or spelling is not that great.

Thanks for the feedback. After thinking it through, I’ve decided to keep going with Indigo Lane, just not as a Ren’Py game. I’m currently converting everything into a comic while keeping the story, dialogue, and visuals intact. It’ll look a bit rough at first, but I’ll keep refining it and continue the tale there with new events, plot progress, and the scenes I’d already planned for the game.


I get that this might feel like an overreaction on my part (it probably is), but this path lets me work with a bit more peace of mind and focus on the content and story. I’ll share updates here and on my Patreon. One thing’s certain: I’ll keep Indigo Lane going so everyone can enjoy it for free, regardless of platform.

Thanks for the feedback. After thinking it through, I’ve decided to keep going with Indigo Lane, just not as a Ren’Py game. I’m currently converting everything into a comic while keeping the story, dialogue, and visuals intact. It’ll look a bit rough at first, but I’ll keep refining it and continue the tale there with new events, plot progress, and the scenes I’d already planned for the game.

I’m planning to release two builds: one with the full routes (including the NTR paths), and another NTR-free version that only includes the Commander routes. I’ll keep both as faithful as possible to the original concept and tone I had in mind—the visual quality and writing won’t change, just the way the content is packaged.

Are they two entirely different ones or NTR-free one is just the first one without obvious NTR-content? cuz imo the latter one will unavoidably look like these girls just cheat where MC doesn't know?
