This is how I tend to see it too. I understand playing a fem protag in regular games, or MMOs. They kinda become your girl or whatever. It's like playing as 2B in Nier, or as Eve in Stellar Blade. But in a sex game where you do the fucking, and from the perspective of a straight guy, it makes no sense to want to play as the woman getting banged by dudes. Unless these comments are just false flagging to get their way. No idea, I don't really get the logic otherwise.
I'm enjoying it so far. I think the idea that paragon = no mind control like some are suggesting isn't necessary. The game is intended to be a parody, not a homage, as you said. Same as with all the previous games. None of these characters are automatically your "friends", they're people you, as a recruit, just met. I like the indoctrination power, and I think the distinction between paragon and renegade should only really differ in how far you take the corruption/shame aspect of the power rather than not using it at all. Similar sorta deal as in LiS. This isn't a dating sim afterall.
Hope you continue this. As a huge mass effect fan, sans andromeda, I'm really enjoying this so far. Also thanks for adding mouse controls. I've always disliked the keyboard controls in your games so this is much better.

I checked, Captains Room, Engineering, Crew Level (walked around to the Bridge and Medical), the original room with the bed and computer. Not sure. I'm also stuck.
Overall not a great experience so far, the 3D navigation doesn't seem to add a lot of value.

Nobody "truly believes" they are literally a character in a game. You know, "discerning fantasy from reality." The vast majority of games on this site are written with a self insert and/or roleplay in mind, including your favourite RPG games. In fact, the game this parody is based off of has one of the more famous poster childs of self insert characters. It's a simple, and entirely common literary tool that serves as a vehicle for the player to perform actions they think they (the mc) would do (self insert), or think the character (author's protag name) would do (roleplay) to experience the story. It's all about immersion, and makes forming connections with characters you like fun if you're personally invested. I'm well aware not everyone self inserts or roleplays.
Which is why it makes even less sense, especially in your case, to want the MC to be female, since you're just about the spectacle porn anyway. You should have no issue if the MC is male or female, since either way the male MC is going to corrupt a girl, or the female MC is going to get corrupted and fucked in a way of your choosing. And that's really all you're interested in. In the case of this game, Femshep is already in the game. So why the fuck do you guys care whether she's the MC or some random guy is the MC if you want to prepare her to get nailed by some guy anyway? Both scenarios end in the same outcome for you. Seems to me the MC's gender is more important to people who roleplay/self insert and should be far less important to people like you.

The "intelligence specialist" is Liara, and you find her on the Crew Level, opposite the Medbay.
I found the general area in this parody game rather weird, since you have like 3 or 4 so sub-areas in between the medbay, the tables in front of the kitchen, and Liaras room.
I struggled a bit with finding EDI after the talks in engineering as well.
