Primarily because there's not much to talk about. The game was barely out of the door, and it's still a tech demo per-se, not a proper release/live build. Even the updates were sparse and few so you can't amass much engagement if you don't have anything to show for it.

I don't agree that Mass Effect is dead, but it's just not culturally relevant anymore like it used to be. However, Architect's games require a power dynamic, and I don't recall any other recent IPs or something like BG3 where it could fit that theme.
also, it's on Hold for now

I liked the second, I think both 1 and 3 where much weaker, and IMO
Goons Raid Her was the best of his work.
Yes Goons Raid Her was his first game i played and was impressed by it, never seen anything like it.
But IMO, Life is Strange game does it for me the best.
Wish he does more of those titles that we are all familiar and attached to.

The issue with Mass Effect is that it's pretty much over. The Remaster is already 4 years old and it's not getting much traction, most people that bought it, were old fans that couldn't play it on consoles anymore, hence why in some stat announcement Bioware made at the time, something like 80% of sales were on Playstation. Even then, most of the new people that bought it and played it, didn't engage with it like old fans did, that had to wait 2-3 years between releases. People binged it and moved on.

The other thing is that the Trilogy is over, and the cast is retired, so there is not going to be a resurgence of these characters, even with the next ME, because they won't be in it, and if they will be, their 5 second cameos won't sell them to a new audience. And then, there's no way a new cast of characters by this Bioware are going to top the trilogy cast. So, while not dead, Mass Effect has nowhere to go, and no way to make a come back. These characters will not be relevant in any way to younger people in 2-3 years. None of them will care how anon killed trillions of his children, jerking it to Tali's 3-toed feet, 20 years ago.

Yikes, did people really enjoy HnS that much over literally anything else?
Those are my thoughts, too. I liked Hack and Stalk 2, but the other two are just bleh. I agree that those games haven't aged well in terms of their stupid mini-games, gameplay, and the writing is cringeworthy, but that doesn't warrant remaking them from the ground up.

Those games are in the past; it's time to move on, and the nostalgia baiting won't work. They weren't such masterpieces back then, and they aren't now, so much so that it deserves putting a new up-and-coming project on hold. Architect could've gone with Hack and Stalk 4, if he was so inclined to revisit that franchise once again. Still, from my perspective, this is a waste of effort and time that otherwise could've gone towards Indoctrination, which was already on its last legs.

Maybe the loud majority of his supporters tricked him into believing there was more demand for Hack and Stalk than it really is?

Actually, I like these "stupid" mini-games very much, as they influence the story and require some effort. I liked HnS2 very much.
And in GRH there were some interactive mini-games, too.
LIS was great as well, but for my taste it lacks the nice mini-games.

But all in all I can say: Whatever he does, it's always a really great game!

Honestly I've never seen a mass effect project get banned by EA so it's a little paranoid to assume so, The Pilgrimage porn game is up to Chapter fuckin 2 by this point.

The issue I think is the timing. If the game is announced close to when ME Legendary Edition is released, I think it will generate interest. But now the ship has sailed. Bioware hasn't announced anything about the franchise since and most people have moved on.

Interesting thing is, that Architect's parodies were the only reason for me to buy and play all the LiS and ME games :D
The studios should be glad about these high quality parodies.
