i also dont know much about this stuff but yes, it doesnt seem like they are official files from the dev and one of them have base64 which could be used as obfuscation, i reported it do the site devs to have a look

I had a look, it basically pulls code from two different audio files.

I've had a look at the first one to run and it's basically pulling something from another.

The audio files should also be deleted :
- game/audio/ambient_night.ogg - This one contains the code to decrypt the other
- game/audio/sound_effect.mp3 - That one I'm getting to

yeah this upload is suspicious since it has some lspsp or whatever thing at the start that redirects you to some website which is not related to the dev at all.
and ofc the weird 8.20 batchfile in the main folder.
and the fact the entire game is in chinese.

It's 0.3 version, just the game didn't fully continue like other. You play the ending screen then it cut to new chapter after credit end.

Edited: Seem like new file had been wipe and old one is back. The game seemlike get rigged and beware you computer, so far I think mine is alright now.

Just checked my saves they're the same (*still mine). The last autosaves are in chinese.

I reasonably confident it only translates the game to chinese and adds that ad at the beginning.

Please don't download or open the game... I don't know what I'm taking about

Edit: There is some new content at the end there, still y'all wait for someone who knows what they're doing comes along whileI throw my computer in bleach

There was no malicious content in the files, only 1 or 2 pieces of advertising and translation codes, but it still makes more sense to wait for the official version and play with peace of mind.

yeah makes no sense to add a weird popup with a virus, if the intention was infect people they would just do it without apparent modification.

Well, I played the whole update on the old laptop I only use for avns and it seems to be ok, nothing really suspicious in it

Already found the culprit on Patreon, so I blocked him. Maybe it was just some ads where you'll go to their website, not some malware, but I dunno
