I get what you are saying, but at least how he presented and occurred in the game, that's not going to happen. I mean, you have the main li basically saying that she only wants to be with you in a porn industry scenario when they are planning their future careers. Which is quite bizarre in the setting, but... it's clear what the Dev wants to say about the Li's.

Really love the dialogues and stuff. Really weird plot tho lol. I can see the Eternum inspiration, especially how the ending was done. I feel like the way you write the dialogues would have been better suited for something like office theme, just my two cents. It was good tho and goodluck to the dev.

As this is a unique & controversial theme, I have a nagging feeling the developer hasn't really setup the main frame of the story and is just building up based on feedback in early versions.

Problem is it's hard to get a systematic and statistical view of preferences which is very important from a financial / commercial POV. Otherwise it will just end up with different people shouting they like this hate that etc etc.

Roughly speaking I can foresee a few rough storylines:

1)One main LI and multiple porn co-workers, LI does not join the porn industry and exist as a romance route outside MC's porn job
2) One main LI and multiple porn co-workers, LI joins the gig and fucks whoever that her job requires
3) One main LI and multiple porn co-workers, LI joins the gig but only fucks with MC
4) Multiple LIs which may include porn co-workers, MC can choose whether to harem or stay with one
5) No real LIs, MC fucks with co-workers, FWBs or ONS

Each of them have their pros and cons and will attract certain players while pissing off others.

#1 is probably the safest (appeals to most people & pisses off the least), but also the one that is most boring. As with everything "safe", that would also mean the game is unlikely to standout from the crowd as the porn industry becomes just background no different from house / school / work in other games.

#2 is the boldest and doing this will really stand out but then haha this will cause the anti-NTR crowd to abandon the game. But it does offer many opportunities for story making if both MC and LI work in the industry.

#3 is slightly more risky but yet avoids pissing the sharing crowd. However this is probably the most unrealistic and illogical route. Could be a good compromise between market realities and being unique.

#4 would also be a more generic harem, but this also means realistically none of the girls will be explored in depth as attention needs to be spread evenly among many characters.

#5 is more akin to those corruption fuck and move on stories with no central theme. Has its appeal to certain people.

Personally I would prefer #2 as that really stands out, but commercially (hey $$$ is important) I would say #3 is probably the most viable one.

Without playing the game, I see where the game is heading just by reading the forum post. I fully agree #2 and 3 would be better for the game. You can get lots more dialog, and more scenarios out of those.

One example is when Li gets booked for a shoot for a BBC, and she asks her partner if he is okay with that. Does the MC feel secure enough in his relationship to let her take the shoot, or ask her to turn it down maybe the shoot for the BBC is requesting the LI and the MC. Thus opens up further depth for advanced choices.

I prefer version 4 where none of the LIs are porn actresses. In any case, the MC's profession means that I don't trust the game too much. In fact I guess that most of the harem followers (at least the vanilla ones) have escaped suspecting that the LIs are going to be porn actresses.

I wanted to give a review but not post an actual game review since this in just the first release
Anyway, I wont get into the whole fight discussion about the theme and setting. I think its that writing a VN where you're a pornstar is unique and bold...at least its not another college + incest game.
So at first I was miffed with the whole "landlady" thing, but Mallory seems to actually not be MC's mother, which is fine...but for the love of god rewrite her intro with an actual backstory. Make her a friend of MCs parents or like the widow of MC's uncle...anything other than landlady.

Now with the positives, right. Bunch of stuff I liked in this:
+the renders, pretty great graphics overall, nice angles, lightning, composition and stuff. It seems you know your stuff and that goes a long way
+audio overall was good I think, I had no problem with the music choices but there were times when mood setting songs would start and stop very abruptly, like, for 5 lines of dialogue or something...But I think that's a problem with the writing...we'll get there.
+ grammar was pretty great! No engrish, no mistaking they're, there, your and you're. THANK GOD!
+now the character designs, to me are the best part of this. The main cast is quite interesting looking and the support characters are very wildly different and eye-catching. Eri and Regina look a tad weird but I think that's by design.

Now for negatives...
-This one might sound harsh, but man...the dialogue here is very boring and "sanitized". It feels like it was written to not offend anyone or something. I was so into the game during the whole intro, until the point where MC and Mariam have their first real conversation. And then the second day was even worse.
My problem with the dialogue as a whole is just how badly it gives life to the characters. Both MC and Mariam are the blandest archetypes ever. Both being the nicest, hard-working, intelligent and loveable people ever. The way they glaze each other with compliments non-stop while barely having spent a day together feels very forced and unearned. They have no flaws and there is no drama. Then Mallory and the other lady just say stuff like "please dont be unconfortable". If you ctrl+ F "confortable" in the script, how many times does it appear?
Btw how weird it is that Mariam is a virgin that wants to do porn but doesnt even tell that to the producer so they pay her more. I mean...a real virgin losing her virginity on camera should be a gold mine right? Or at least secure her a better deal? If she is so desperate I can see her making that extreme choice.
Before this gets absurdly long I'll just say this: If I were to fix those problems, I would revise day 1 and 2 when MC and Marian have their serious talks. Cut back on the eternal strings of compliments and don't make her spill her sad backstory so damn fast. It doesnt need to be a huge mystery but if we figure her out in 2 seconds then there is nothing else to solve and her character just becomes a nice face to look at (it is indeed very nice, good job)

I will end this by saying you got something special here, its different and new, so grab the good advices and constructive criticisms and ignore the crowd that only wants to play the same game over and over. It's like there isnt already a deluge of romance, harem games with no sharing, no ntr, where every girl is a virgin that venerates MC. Be confident and tell the story you wanna tell.

Yeah I gonna agree with Psymind on this. Glad im not the only one who thought the same.
First I thought the tags or describtion was wrong, since until the very last 20 sec of this release is all about voyeurism stuff (so I checked it again), but also the last scene with MC and Mariam was kinda weird, but still good. Kinda like it had to been shoved into for this release since there wouldnt be a single scene with MC. Ironically I wish the sex scene would have gone longe .

Im also agreeing with Beast Within that its kinda hard to make romance or love in a setting like this, while its also not being very original nor its being something interesting. Wicks99 seems to have brought the logical options here but lets be honest, none of them sound appealing or something you want to come back and are looking interested to get to know what happens next. Probably because of the setting, since "Doing Porn" is the only thing here. Personally Im not a fan of such, since there is no room for good story writting there but also if drama or romance is somehow forced it, it either feels out of place or was not done great (at least from my experience).

Models look great for HS2, music and sound are good too. I get the "its Porn industry cliche hence we get voyeurism scenes" but didnt liked them. However I must say the dev himself (but also the game itself indirectly says it) that following voyeurism wont be with the main girls, whomever these are since many girls got introduced rather quickly.

One a last note:
I will see where the Dev will continue from here. Perhaps good drama can be come with some of these male actors who try to sabotage the MC in some way (not everything needs to be handled with sex lol), but MC can then dethrow them by litterly fucking their female mangaer or his GF. Dunno, some thoughts I had when I saw him introduced, since he in this short scene perfecly suits the role of a "douche".
