Yes it does. It affects how MC behaves, and also sometimes influences which options you have available. It doesn't affect other NPC's perception of you. (not yet, but might change in future.)Nice game but I'm wondering about the stats, do they really have any effect? In dialogue or the way the MC behaves or maybe other NPC's perception about the MC?
A good example of this is the optimistic/pessimistic choice you make at the start of Episode 3, which determines how the game describes the Tabitha as you are approaching it. Other examples are where a more timid MC will blush when complimented, or a bolded MC telling the LI exactly what they like/want. Also, choosing Alieu vs Matahr has several flavour descriptions. As an Alieu you'll sometimes be able to guess exactly what a NPC is feeling/thinking, where a Matahr might just notice the NPC smiling or sighing.
That said, if there is ever a scene in the game where you feel your character is acting 'out of character' for the choices you made, please let me know. I love fixing issues like that to make sure each and every player feels their character is 'seen'.
