For the people asking - AI chat won't magically work by you just downloading the game and then clicking on the AI model names in options. It doesn't have anything to connect to.
You need to install an AI model like Kobold on your PC locally first, then connect that model to the game. There was a tutorial somewhere, it's quite easy
