I do but not many people use Unity and Unreal to make games with 2D art. You see a bit of Unity here and there but almost never Unreal when it's about 2D stuff.
I highly doubt he's going to go from Ren'py to Unreal as a solo dev. That'd be stupid as hell and he doesn't strike me as that dumb of a guy. Could definitely see him using Unity, or mayyybe Godot..

yeah, for this kind of games, not that you cant in unreal, but it serves no purpose to go unreal compared to any other engines. i like unreal personally but no point in here.

Guys chill, influencing engine being renpy thing talked by many people many times in dev's discord channel, long time and several updates ago. I really don't think he'd push things further with the first game and go for a game engine change. If you can run it now i think you can run it with upcoming updates and changes as well. Even if you can't run it with a more complex AI as long as AI is optional you can run normal (No AI) version.
Influencing 2? Dunnow about that. I also talked with dev a couple of times. (Been a while, there was no influencing 2 talk) From the impression i had, i am thinking he will first want to satisfy himself by making a good and different job again.
If i have to make a guess the new engine for second game, i say Unity. Just a guess.
BUT then we don't even know if influencing 2 will actually happen or not right? Or first one will get abandoned or not (i hope not) So for now just chill.

honestly I think it would be best for the first one to be abandoned. It honestly has tons of flaws

It'd be great to have an option to run it with Open Router. If there's currently a way to do it, I would appreciate some enlightenment.
While I have a meager 4060 ti, the models it can run pale in comparison to even the free ones available on open router.

maybe a Mosque and some females in the game can wear Hijab? or maybe a Church and we can have fun with a some nuns
