Wiki has always been a volunteer project, so that mapes it difficult to estimate timelines when the time someone has to work on it, AND their interest can wax or wane over time.

With 650 edits recently, assuming two thirds of them are edits to existing pages (Linking stuff or adding additional information) then you're probably looking at 200=250 new pages added to the 450ish pages related to Inheritance already in the wiki. At the same time, I just cracked the source file open and it says there are just a smidge over 17000 files within. My guess would be that a quarter of those would represent their own scenes and/or characters that would need their own entries at most (Example: bigger functions like the bedroom sex is broken up into several files to make them more manageable, which would be a big part of why I said a "quarter" above.) So there's likely anywhere between 2000 and 5k scenes/functions/characters that would need to go into the wiki.

Short version: The wiki is a big enough undertaking that I wouldn't feel safe projecting a timeline. Best case we're likely talking in terms of months to completely catch up while adding new content as it comes out.

In other news, we're working on a map system for navigation in the background that has been frequently requested but always on the lower priority list until now.

Little teaser:

I suppose it would be too much to ask for the map to have a marker in any room where an event might trigger?

Unfortunately, with there being thousands of scenes in the game, tracking all of them along with the conditions for them would be a very time consuming project at best, and near impossible at worst since there's the potential for dozens of viable scenes to appear in some locations at one time.

We have however been talking about using tool tips to indicate who is in each room or other important information. We also hope to set up some form of indicator (Highlighting the room, a dot or star on the room, etc) to show players where their character is at any given time.

To continue to progress with Elodie do I have to learn sign language at the library with Riley?

Well what times is Riley there? I was there several days and she never showed
Okay...
to summarize...
Riley first appearance is after you exchange numbers with Elodie in a scene that can occur in the Drinking Donkey.
Then is properly introduce as Elodie's sister in the next scene again in the Drinking Donkey, during the evening of from Monday-Friday between 6pm to midnight or Sunday Saturday from morning to 1am.
Then, you have a change of her sending you a message between 10am to 9pm to met at the park. After a long discussion, she will give you her number.
After that, you can met Riley at the library on Fri & Sat Thursday & Friday between 4pm to 6pm or if the day is Sunday, Saturday 12pm to 4pm
Then the real lesson in sign language can start.

While I was thinking about pregnancy content, here came up with another idea.
As we know, games are giving most of the characters fertility. Anna can have Rey and Misaki's kids, and Mitsuko can have Red and Rey's kids. (This is my personal favorite, Cuckoldary / Netorase content.)
But in the current game, after the characters give birth to a child, there is a feeling that the children all become similar.
Think about it, after a happy wedding, Anna has Misaki's baby for one day's pet game, and Eve has Rey's baby, wouldn't they have something to talk about with their husband? Wouldn't Mitsuko have something to say when she sees her children grow up to resemble Red day after day?

This is actually on my list of things to create content for eventually. Eventually I want the kids to grow up and become adults. There's actually a personality mechanic built into the game that will affect kids as they get into the older age ranges so they'll start seeming different as the come into their preteens and those differences will grow into adulthood. (Basically, there's 10ish personality types with the intent to add more eventually. Each character can have 1-3 of those types so long as they do not contradict one another (Example: Shy, Nerdy, and Friendly could all work together to create their behavior range. However Shy and Outgoing would contradict one another and not be a viable combination) This should create a fairly large range of behaviors for adult children even if some might have a few similarities.

Repercussions of children that are not the MCs is something that will likely be addressed as new child content reaches the top of the priority list again.

I've played this game and maid mansion from critical bliss. Can someone suggest me more inheritance games please? It doesn't specifically have to be a mansion. That just seems to be the most common subject. I guess?

New Inheritance build is LIVE!

The public build is always free. Give it a look, and if you enjoy it, please consider a small pledge to help support further development of this game.

B5 Introduces a new map system alongside the current one where you can navigate using a map of the mansion rather than descriptive links. This feature can be toggled on or off from the sidebar as desired. So far the feature covers the full mansion, but nothing outside of it yet.

Lol, STILL nothing new for Red and Elodie. The biggest problem with this Dev team is they keep adding new shallow stuff and have not touched any of the older stuff to flesh it out. This goes for a lot of the games older plots that have been abandoned.
