Each chapter in my game is a separate story with a global storyline running through it. The first chapter is no exception; even if it is the gateway to the next adventures, it's still a separate story of interest in its own right. It's not a bare-bones, demo, proof-of-concept, etc. And it's already larger than some finished text-based games.Well well, a Text based HTML game with female protagonist? And pregnancy content?

There are sex scenes in the game, but they are textual. There are no porn pictures/videos/gifs, whatever. I don't know how else to explain it better.
Just so you know, as a female gamer i adore games where i can be a female and have all those kinky tags ;3 so i loved it so far. Thanks for giving me another game to add to my list. With more content i can see this being one i play alot ( my favs are degrees of lewdity, third crisis, and lilithsthrone) keep it up <3longjohngold

About Abilities. My idea is that each attribute has the ability to persuade. After all, my game is about dialogues and situations, not battles. It's just that the ways of persuasion are different. Mind is rational persuasion. Willpower - the suppression of another's personality with one's own. Intrigue - cunning or charm. Moreover, in rarer situations, even physical Abilities allow persuasion. For example, at this point, there is a scene where Agility can be used to seduce (show body flexibility).
About the dagger (you played as Vagrant, other Origins don't have it). She's not an assassin and doesn't know how to use it skillfully (at least not yet). The dagger is more of a symbol and a reminder of her lost friend. That's why it can't be used, ahem, "for its intended purpose" just yet. But, to paraphrase the classic, if there is a "dagger" hanging on the wall, it means that sooner or later it will "shoot".
And don't worry about vengeance. Everything in its own time.
About, um, forcibly satisfying "another kind of hunger" with the widow's use. The protagonist has no attraction to women by default. The lesbian tag to the game is consistent with forum rules, where it means purely technical girl-to-girl sex (there is such a scene in the game, and in 2 different versions). In terms of orientation, the protagonist is rather bisexual. Or more accurately, she can be bisexual if the player selects the appropriate options and opens a sex scene with a woman. It's like an awareness of her orientation. It's just not set by default, but happens during the game with appropriate descriptions. Or it doesn't. If players do not select certain options of attraction to women - their girls will only be for boys, as straight as it gets.
Alas, the tag Bisexual is not provided here, so I put Lesbian instead. I think a lot of people will be unhappy with this confusion, but I don't quite see what can be done about it. Put my own tag, not provided for by the forum rules?
By the way. Every Origin has its own unique content. In 2 cases, even quite large unique scenes. This is one of the reasons why the game is a bit "on rails" (not just because of my desire to avoid dead-end plot branches). My point is that even on rails, playing as a different Origin and looking at events from a different angle should still be interesting, I hope.
About the cheats. I really wasn't sure if I should post this version. But maybe you're right, the forward/backward function could be quite handy. Hmm, I'll think about it. Maybe I'll remove both versions and make a basic one without the cheats, but with the forward/backward option activated.

Try to download this version, maybe last time you had some error when downloading.What are the files provided for download? The extensions are .rar, but the program I used to try and expand them said they weren't rar files. Nothing else I've tried so far to get into any of them has worked.

Well, the story itself and the key events that should happen are already thought out. There is some freedom in between, where I can insert some filler episodes.This game really has potential. I played through a couple of hours this one short chapter with all the character configurations. I was even drawn into the story and that's not uncommon with games on this site. Finally some more serious fantasy and not borderline parody. Or rather, it's not a matter of story as such but how the characters and especially the PC are written. Because that's what I liked the most. Do you have any plan already in how many chapters you want to wrap up the game?
I've written about pregnancy here somewhere before. Pregnancy... is a pregnancy. Well, it certainly won't be as a "bad end". I mean, pregnancy in the game functions on random variables. It would be extremely unfair of me to put the success of a player's game on random variables.Hope to see more and how pregnancy goes in this. Feels like a thing that it will happen instead of bad end.
Thanks. I like the system with Insight, too. It may look simple, but it took me a damn long time to come up with a role system both not relying on random variables (triggering save-load scamming) and not tied rigidly to thresholds (triggering metagame). Seems to work as intended.I love this so far. The world is neat, the scenes are interesting, and the choices do just enough to allow one to roleplay without branching off too much (seemingly) so as to make development a nightmare. The portraits are a great touch that I enjoy a lot, and I really like the Insight system.
Thank you. Yep, I plan on releasing chapters in their entirety. It's not very smart from a promotional point of view (the more frequent the updates, the more attention, the higher the potential fees). But short stumps of chapters will irritate players and practically force them to replay often. Bad for immersion. I don't want that.Pretty good right off the bat. If you can maintain the quality while being able to deliver full chapters i would say your project is better than the other 99% available here.
