VN - Ren'Py - Inner Growth [v1.8] [Morally Purple]

Delivers high quality rendered sex CGs from the get go, and often. MC is good looking, and so are the other characters. Always a fan of female-protag games, esp. when they are done this well. Story is pretty unique, with new-ish worldbuilding ideas thrown in.

Also appreciate the presence and selection of music. If I have one gripe, I would retweak the puzzle sequence to be more intuitive. The current build does not have a lot of variance across the 'Light' and 'Dark' paths, but that may be something already planned for. Honestly, gonna keep tabs on this one for a while. 0.8 build and full disclosure, I played it with the mods. This is now one of my favorites.

Things that stuck out to me:

The pacing is fairly balanced. It moves slow enough to develop a good, cohesive story, but not so slow that you find yourself wondering where the sexual content is. And the story is pretty good. Demons and succubi have been done many times before, but this is easily my favorite take on it as a primary storyline.

Along with the story, the humor is nice. It's not a comedy routine by any stretch, but a light-hearted romp through the adventure that makes you laugh on occasion, within the context. Example: I think my favorite choice in the game was "smash their face in or smash their face in lightly". They didn't ignore that the MC is a demon, even with the "nicer" choice and instead used it to crack a joke. In addition, there are a few 4th wall breaks, but IMO, they're done well.

The artwork is DAZ, obvious enough. The renders are pretty good. What I liked is the attention to detail that most of the scenes show. Example: The MC is walking around with a giant cock and it's evident as applicable in almost every outfit that she wears. That's usually overlooked.

As for the characters, I found them to be pretty likeable. They aren't cookie cutter designs either. Each has their own look, both bodily and in clothing choice, and more importantly in personality. Sure, they're all a bunch of horny sluts, but that's not a downside and there's more to each of them than that.

The Dev claims that English isn't their first language. Honestly, their English is better that numerous games made by people that have English as a first language. It's not perfect, but it's always nice to have very few issues with that.

Mechanics and replayability: Most choices matter over time. Different scenes have well... different scenes if you choose differently. Want to solve all your problems with violence and deception, the demon way, or try to at least be a bit nicer? It works out well. Several options in a few places on the sexual content as well.

Minor notes:

Good amount of content. When I thought I was almost done looking at the latest walkthrough, I had another two hours or so.

It has music. Always a nice touch and it was a different from what I usually hear, so that's another plus.

Bug free for me at least. Always awesome.

The only gripe I have is that you can't rename characters; which always makes things more fun. And, honestly, that doesn't even really count as a gripe. IMHO, it really is a well made VN.

There are two genres of games on this site that I typically socially distance from religiously: one is any game that contains any fantasy creature/alien and the other being FUTA. FUTA has definitely been the biggest no for me too (nothing against them - just not for me). Despite all that, despite everything I told myself, I actually still enjoyed playing this game that combined two of my own "banned" genres

To be quite honest, I missed the FUTA tag when I downloaded it so I was quite surprised to see it on Thalna and so many others. However, unlike the others I've seen, the proportions of the dick weren't comical and the rendering for all models is actually pretty superb so I decided to continue with the game. I found myself more and more comfortable with the content and played all the way through to the update.

Aside from the above average renders, the dialogue and overall plot flow and hold up pretty well with everything happening for a clear reason. The choices we have to impact the path of the story as well as the "morality/corruption" side of Thalna is also a welcome aspect.

The only thing to nitpick on is the lack of animation. There was one animation input in the midway point that was smooth but nothing more anywhere else. Incorporating animation into the game would not only add another layer of satisfaction for us, but also another layer of sophistication to the game to elevate it even further

This is a crazy game and I hope that in the future it doesn't try to take itself seriously, because it's that craziness what makes it funny. There are futa demons, female elves, evil magic queens and other things like that. For reasons that actually don't care, they came to the real world to mix with prostitutes and their female pimps, professional sexual futa wrestlers and a lot of women that think and behave as topical sex-crazed men. Crazy, stupid, bizarre... but funny. And this is a game: fun is the actual goal. You don't even need read all the dialogues and stuff (ar pretty bad anyway). It´s just the futa MC going around fucking everybody, friends and foes.

I'm not going to talk about the gameplay. It´s classic: you take decisions that gives you points of different stats and you trigger a scene or another according those points. You can see the "tags" if you want to know the fetishes. Some of them, like urination, are avoidables.

THERE IS NOT GRIND IN THIS GAME!!! Just because of that, this game deserves all stars, golden orbes, thumbs up and standing ovations of this forum.

The only real problem I see is, most of the bodies (99% of the characters are women of futa) are the same. The only real difference is cock/no cock. Some bodies are slightly more ripped that others, some breasts are slightly bigger than others, there are different color of skin (even blue ones)... that's all. All bodies have the same shape of breast, hips and waists. Just slight variations over the same basic 3D model. More variety in bodies, (shapes, ages and weighs) would be a great thing. And a source of new fetishes for the game (MILFs and GILFs, for example)

Ok. Firstly, this is easily one of the best Futa VN out there, Period.
I love the characters, I love especially Thalna.
You'll find basically instant porn without much history or plot, but there are nice choices, and the Light VS Dark is pretty cool. It seems to reflect well how you can mold Thalna's personality and those she interacts with.
As for Art. There's no other VN I've played so far, that can be compared with this quality. I mean the designs are amazing, but the details on everything are perfect. I got lost in most arts, especially, believe it or not, the non sex scenes where Thalna appears. She's just Divine and perfect.
If you like Futa/trans MC. I can't recommend this enough. I hope this game gets finished, it's so worth it.

You play as Thalna a sexy trans demoness on her quest forced upon her (as punishment) by her mother to defeat some succubus. Follow her on this mission while making a harem of hot women.

Dialogues may need a bit of work, they are kind of raw specially on sex scenes but the game shines with its good quality renders and a great amount of sex scenes.

Games with trans/futas are a rare thing around here so it is nice to find one that is good. Recommended.

I'll start saying that i don't really write reviews, so this won't be a in depth review.

I downloaded the game without any expectations, i was very surprised with everything in the game, good renders, good pacing, good characters, nothing to really take a point in my view. Keep it up.

I absolutely love this game.

The story is unique and fairly well-written with several choices for the player to make that will affect further choices down the line and thus the direction of the story itself.

The renders are of high quality and there are a decent number of them for each scene. Unfortunately, there's not much for animation, but it managed just fine with still images.

The character models are great. The females are all very attractive and have realistic proportions. No impossibly-large boobs, or hips that are twice the width as their waist, or... weird looking faces lol. Plus, most of these lovely chicks have dicks, which is always a plus! However, and this is just my opinion, but some of them only have a dick and no balls which is just weird to me lol. But again, that's just my opinion.

Anyway, I'm REALLY hoping to see more of this soon, because it has some of my favorite fetishes (futa, watersports), great character models, the story is intriguing, and the choices system is wonderful!

Great work so far, dev! I'll be keeping watch on this one!

An incredible game. Gorgeous 3D renders, wonderful sex scenes, an interesting story, and multiple different routes. It has ALL of the features an adult game should have including a scene replay gallery. A must play for any futanari game fan.

Mixed feelings on this one.

Art's alright. Models are nice enough. Some shots afflict characters with Grey Sausage Dong Syndrome, but others of the same models are nice.

Writing is bad. Plot is okay, but narrative and dialog are wooden and there's too much 4th wall cringe. Characterization is weak and uninteresting. The opening sequence is poorly done to the point that I kept wondering if the game was bugging out, or if I had hidden the dialog box, of if the whole thing was gonna be a silent picture a la 1920.

As above, the very first bit of dialog is the choice to pee in a corner. Wat? It's outta nowhere, a terrible first impression, as mentioned above it's after a very wtf sequence, and a personal turnoff to boot. The fact the following [completely unreleated] scene IS strong in my kinkset saved me from immediately clicking out. As an intro it's like learning to fly by tripping and falling face-first off the roof of a sewage processing plant.

TLDR: there's potential here and I strongly suspect I'll edit my review to raise my current 3-start score, but as it stands a rework of the first impression would be top of the wishlist.

Another gem, I almost missed. This game needs to be higher on this front page list. I mean, up to par with WVM.

Models and quality are just top nodge 10/10. No pixelated stuff. I also really like the different models. I mean, from short hair, long haired, thin and "bigger" woman. And most interesting, futa and tattooed women. For some reason I like tattooed women in the 3d model world. Irl, not so much.

Story so far, 10/10. I mean, supernatural stuff, I am always game. Not many games go supernatural. I am a bit bored of, just 18 year old, lost parents, good luck with your aunt. Really liking it so far, creative. Choices also gives it a nice touch. Different scenes even. Instead of, insert choice here, but nothing actually changes.

Futa MC. I mean, it is the hype these days, right? Together with top nodge models, I like the futa MC. Too bad you cant change the name, but hey, story . Also gives the options an entirely different feeling.

I rate this 5/5 (yeah I prefer 10/10). Because of the different MC choice, story and models. Those are always my main criteria when playing games.

P.S. I only review my top rated games. If it is negative, I usually stop playing it and remove it from my list. Plus the internet is full of negative comments already

Not too far in yet, but holy shit is this game promising!

A futa MC, with an actually reasonable dick (and, importantly, balls to go with it), a great selection of fetishes (e.g. futa peeing in literally the first scene, futa/fem pregnancy as a plot point, and brutally stabbing a dude who seems to want to cuck the MC ), all combined with excellent renders and what is so far a solid, original story.

All in all, this is already one of the games I'm keeping the closest eye on!

This is a promising game in a dark fantasy setting with a futa mc, I like it.

The world is cool, the characters aren't that deep yet but at least behave like they're in a porn game and don't have weird thoughts like oh nooo sexy stuff how horrible
The renders look really good/ fine, but nothing spectacular.
The content, well it's good but not alot. My biggest issue is the lack of dialogue or descriptive narrative. It's ok for a first release but maybe needs a re-do. This was particularilly disappointing in the sex-scenes, since they only lasted for 20 - 30 clicks with the mouse... maybe 4x that and we're talking, otherwise there isn't really a reason to play the further releases.

At first i thought it was crap but since it is the very first release i gave it a possibility i think it has some basis for a good game in the future. Ofc for all futa lovers out there the renders are really good and i love that the dick isn't as enormous as usually got to be. I'd love some UI improvements but i guess those will come in next releases
