This is the best parodic sex game ever. absolutely flawless graphics and challenging gameplay. The few sexual scenes are made anyway with a logic. Only to improve some aspects of the fluidity of the game. But I'm sure they will be improved later.

graphics quality is good. UI is good but the experience sucks. it has a great concept but man, its so grindy and so unfulfilling. its not fun to play because you do all the leg work and then nothing. i would appreciate a good grind if there are worthwhile scenes to look out for but man, there are just nothing. all teases that if you compare it to other games, its very poor game design.

Extremely length narrative, very little erotic content, repetitive. People keep saying "potential" like that's a good thing at this point. "Potential" is an adjective that can be applied to every unfinished game on this forum. It is not exactly a "positive" thing any more than "uses a common game engine" is positive. And anyways, it's wasted breath. This game will never be finished because it's clear the authors are just trying to jerk off their English degree with a condom called Innocent Witches. I rate 1 Star because they've been given time to add content, but then they didn't. No thank you, you can bribe me with positive, enriching updates, not 30 pages of useless dialogue (which actually turns me off from wanting to learn about the characters more than wanting to immerse myself). A waste of time, if you want the CG, just rip, don't play for the erotic content.

This. Game. Is. Boring.

Bad fan fiction is bad. No matter how many words you put into it to explain.
The writing is childish. Nothing is thought out properly but still the writer is trying to explain everything.

The length of the dialogues is not the bad part, the bad part is there nothing interesting in them. It makes the game seem pretentious. Characters are written in a way that all the students and teachers are sex maniacs but trying to hide it which is never good in a corruption game.

Art is good but that's about it.

If I had to describe this game in three words I would say it's a rambling pretentious teaser.

There's a real disorder called logorrhea, which is a compulsive excessive wordiness, or in other words inability to shut the fuck up. This game suffers from this disorder (and many others, but logorrhea is the most prominent one). There's so much text! Look, I'm not against reading; one of the best porn games in my opinion is a text-based one, without any CGs. Something something lust sovereignty, something something Mount Li. But this... this is some trash tier harry potter fanfic that is several megabytes long. And I'm not exaggerating here, the translation files are several megabytes in size. The main character is pathetic. I mean, he talks to his self-portrait, how more pathetic can you be? Really kills the mood.

The plot is nonsensical; you will need a walkthrough because it's just... not connected to anything you need to do. Not that there is a good reason to do anything, because there's hardly any lewd content, and I'll point out that this thread has been created in September 16, over three years ago. This isn't snail pace, this is tectonic plate pace, really. Or, rather, it would be better to say the game has a shit-ton of bells and whistles that are obviously taxing the development process, and therefore it has next to no lewds. Did you know renpy allows a splash-screen? Well, now you do! Who the frick would be pretentious enough to add a splash-screen to a porn VN? This dev, apparently. I could probably list a few other flaws and personal pet peeves like the UI, but these are minor compared to the problems with the core content.

But hey, there's some good, too! The backdrops are indeed god-tier quality, I'll give them that. These are the most detailed backdrops I've ever seen in an adult game. (Too bad I'm here for action be it CGs or writing, and that is sorely lacking.)

TL;DR: my advice, stay away from this game. And when your kids become of age, tell them to check out Innocent Witches. They will probably enjoy all the 10 sex scenes the game will have by then and pass on this advice to their kids. Then, the technological singularity will happen and this won't matter anymore.

This game is very nice cashcow for devilopers. Whitout progress since years. you rarely find the game where the developers work so little. For those who support the game, my condolences. i supported the game a year ago, then i canceled the support due to lack of new content. Now I have now seen that there is still nothing new. a shame.

A lot of people give this game crap, and they're not invalid, the puzzles can be confusing, getting through the plot to see content can be a grind, it could use some stream lining.
But all that being said, I love the artwork and writing here, the art itself is simply the best on this entire forum, the sultry looks of Luna are so damn hot. I know this game is taking forever, but the art is probably why, as soon as theres actual sexual content in the coming months, this will be one of the best games on the site, I have faith, the current developer took a dead game and is breathing new life into it, pro bono, cut him some slack.

This game had more con's than pro's. After playing for near five hours, I'm still on swimming suits. The MC is trapped in a tower by a one female and according to the walkthrough you have three ways to get pass her and none of them work.
If you like to waste time this is the game for you. Thumb down!

Artwork is god tier. Literally the best I've ever seen. The rest of it is a slow, grindy mess. I don't mind slow, but not THIS slow. Little to no actual adult content except 1 single H-scene near the beginning, and the story is mediocre at best.

It is a real shame, because this has potential to be a legendary adult game, but I don't think it will be.

Let's start with the good things:
1. Incredible and gorgeous 2D art
... aaaaaand that's it

This game really sucks
1. The gameplay is grindy hell. The HUD is designed to make your life miserable. Want to call someone to your office? You need to click 8 times ( Owl, portrait, character,send, clock, time, door, let them in). Want to skip days? You have to click 5 times (open clock, skip to 10 o'clock, door, click on go to sleep, skip the same one-liner). It sounds easy, until you realize you have to wait until saturday to do something with a girl and you need to skip 7 days, then do it again for no fucking reason. Or the swimsuit event, you will want to kill yourself if you try to do that even, which requires you to do specific actions in the same week or else you have to do it again.
2. Plot. As of 0.4, the plot still doesn't make any sense. It's slow as hell because of all the pointless grinding
3. Fanservice. Don't get me started, an adult game with almost NO PORN (apart from a scene with Minerva at the very beginning). Heck, you have to sweat blood in order to even get to see a nipple (half a nipple)

TL;DR: don't waste your time like I did with this hot pile of garbage

I personally realy like this game like my rating may suggest .The game combines character development thru a little bit of grind and plot advancing . For now it has big potential to be amazing game.

The new update has come and now I can say for sure the game is heading in the better direction. The start was pretty much an utter failure, but the head of the project made some good decisions. Here we are with a game that is a masterpiece of art and bearable experience when it comes to gameplay. Which, talking about this particular one is A LOT. Now the only thing this game needs is time and being given a second chance. With the good will of the people, continued work of art team, and proper communication with the audience, I believe, it can revolutionise the market.

Recently pick this game up again and have been impressed with the changes the new team has made. The excellent art remains but the wall of text has been cut way down. The events are fun and I'm looking forward to more lewd content.

The best piece of advice I could give you is to avoid this game. Maybe check out the CG pack because some of the art is AMAZING.

Pros
Beautiful Art. Every scene feels like a Masterpiece.

Cons
- Let's start with that there is only 1 sex scene with McGongall. No nudity with any of the girls as of 0.4
- Extremely grindy for no reason.
- Extremely convoluted story
- Fairly poorly translated into English. Well, it's not that bad at least.

It is difficult for me to rate the game.
It definitely has potential for 5 stars, but at the current state I'd give it 2 or 3.

The art is amazing. Some of the best art I've seen in these games, if not the best art. I recognize that it's a particular style, and perhaps not everyone's taste, but I personally love it, and the attention to detail is magnificent.

The Prologue and Chapters are a bit misleading, since Chapter 1-3 are actually also prologues. The game itself, with actual options, starts at Chapter 4.
It takes a while to get to Chapter 4, and while I can see how the developers might want to use C1-C3 for buildup, it could probably be done quicker and less tedious.

The quests aren't bad, but they are confusing. Oftentimes you find yourself completely baffled and without any clue what to do. Sadly, the help function does not seem to be implemented correctly for Chapter 4 and onwards.

The game does become very grindy. You have to do a lot of the same things, wait many days to see a possible outcome, and sometimes there's just no outcome because you didn't "do the right thing" to progress. Back to grinding and waiting.

The game reminds me of the oldschool Adventure games, where you have to guess, guess, guess some more and maybe find a solution or simply give up.

The story and amount of text isn't bad, it's actually rather average. The game does, however, force you to watch the same "scenes" and dialogue again and again, and there's some very slow animations you can't skip.

As I said, I don't mind that the game is slow, but during Chapter 4, and especially in Chapter 5, the game doesn't just have slow progression, but also becomes fairly grindy.

What I would love to see more of in the game, would be more things to do during the week, and not having to wait for a certain day and hope that you did the right thing during the week to progress. I would also like to see more "rewards" along the path, to keep the player interested.
The sex-scene at the end of the Prologue is very well done, but after that it will take hours upon hours to see any more of that kind.

Ever since JoeBanks took over Ive been loving this game. The ginny quest line he made has the right amount of story/gameplay in order to make the h scenes feel rewarding. The art has always been stellar, but now I think the game is finally headed in the right direction.

Alright so my review at this time is based upon v0.4b, as a result it is not a final score but it is based on the content of the game and my current thoughts on its development and my overall enjoyment of it. If I were to rate this game based solely on the context of its art style then it would easily be on par with some of the best games on this forum and art direction is easily it's strongest feature and I can and will commend that. However, that's where my praise has to end because by the blood of Odin is this game botched in so many other ways. The story is confusing and poorly paced at the best of times, and almost laughably incoherent at the worst. I would chalk this up to possibly a poor translation but given the exchanges between characters it's clear that something needs to be done to improve the overall narrative. The content which everyone is here for feels so painfully sparse that I would liken it to having a fingernail pulled from me with a pair of pliers. I've had to look up a guide to make sure when I finished this version that I hadn't missed anything because the scenes that which they were left such little impact that I didn't even care. The player character feels so obnoxiously cocky that I would rather place my face in a greased cast iron skillet over a fire than listen to inane drivel about how bloody amazing or great he is, that kind of attitude doesn't draw me in and empathize with a character it annoys and detracts from possibly strong moments. Which leads into my next point the dialogue between the PC and NPCs the dialogue as I mentioned earlier feels clunky at the best of times which isn't often while the rest of the game's dialogue feels like someone trying to turn in a twenty page short story last minute. Now from a techincal perspective the game is once again a mess. The UI is rather obtuse and nonsensical in some other or jump plain asinine in other. All in all the game is absolutely amazing in terms of visuals but it is quickly buried by problems in the foundation. If it were to get a major revamp that fixed a lot of the issues facing it I'd have no problem looking into, but as it stands right now I can't say that this game has managed to inspire much confidence.

Art is realy good, minigames are realy good, riddles are solid.

Too much text and options in way that u just lost your sellf in walls of useles texts and then repet and repet, so mostly u skipp text because u read it hundred times over. Too much content that are hidden and easy to miss it, same as achievements because u cant solve then later it game, no way to grind achievements (like repet something 100 times or similar) no hints for achievements and some are insane to find unless devs says how to do it

Pros:
1: I really like the setting of the game.
2: I love the art. It is incredible. Considered giving two stars because of the quality alone.

Cons:
1: I've played for 4+ hours and have only had one very clunky and unintuitive H-scene to play.
2: The UI is unintuitive.
3: The tasks you have to complete in order to progress are impossible to figure out without a walkthrough.
4: The in-game walkthrough is laggy and hard to understand.
5: The dialogue and plot is HORRIBLE.
6: The writing is a mess. Like it was translated with Google translate or something.
7: Your character almost never say what you ask him to say in the dialogue options. It feels bugged.
8: You get locked in the tower, even though there is a lot of Hogwarts to discover.


The artist should fire everyone else on the team and get a proper game designer on board and a proper writer on board. Cut 75% of the writing away.

Make the game mechanics easier to understand and use. I hated the time system. Insanely annoying.

Game is very grindy too. Can't skip the animations for the stat increases. Super time consuming stuff. I hate grinds in games like this.

Everything is boring, unintuitive and frustrating to play. Only saving grace about this game is the stunning art. It is so gorgeous.

TL;DR
10/10 art.
Worst everything else I've ever tried on this website. And I've played 20+ games from this site.
It is so bad that I had to write this review to warn everyone else to not touch this.
Download the CG rip and leave the game alone.

Review for version 0.4:
I've always wanted to give this game a try, but assumed that it was abandoned. However, saw that a new version was out, and gave it a try - the game is brilliant with an incredible art and a cool story, I really enjoyed what was done in terms of game mechanics, especially for a VN engine.

Nonetheless, got to warn you folks, if you are just looking for some quick H-scenes, might be better off playing something like Wands and Witches, this is a slow-burn game with a nice story and great character art.
