@JoeBanks Any plans to maintain save compatibility with older versions? I usually play the F versions and it is hard to gather motivation to play the game if I have to play from the start every time (incompatible saves).

BTW: keep fighting the good fight, this game desperately needs some AD content.

So, I have given this some thought and honestly the plans for 0.3 that I have ready will introduce a crap ton of init python calls, ie variables loading before a new game. It will basically cause all sorts of exceptions. Maybe at some point, I will need to talk to our main coder, I think possibly shoving in numerically driven place holders for use in versions beyond the current might solve this. IE, var000001 var000002 and just have those for use going forward.

The problem is my understanding of renpy personally is a bit lacking as I have only had 6 months exposure to it and our main coder knows it so well I can rely on him more than I should. I know he's been dead against it because so many issues that come up can be attributed to this and then he's digging into code where it could just be a version difference.

Yeah.... When you are making a porn game based on Harry Potter, I was expecting something like "Witch Trainer" ... Not the actual Harry Potter books with LESS excitement....

You could even add them into an Update-gallery, one new lewd pin-up every up-date, just to show your Patreons that you ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT AN ADULT GAME IS!!

P.S. The artstyle is AMAZING, capitalize on that by giving us more of it.
Geez...Start thinking more like a buisness and start providing what your customers actually want.

Yeah, I might be doing one better on 0.3 for ya. We will see. Tasks have been assigned, conversations started with the lead programmer.

Stats will be done first, hopefully around a week. Then we have to redo how there girls are displayed to handle the peeking mechanic and another bonus ability the main hero will get.

Anyhow, all things should work out for the player. I still need to figure out what I am going to do to fix that text wall. Keep in mind it's written in Russian, so I have to cross reference looking at English... :(

First of, you should probably ask "Lev Tolstoy" (Tobie) what the over-arching story actually was, so you can carry the story forward. That way you can avoid scrapping the entire project.

If you wanna tell a story or whatever, do that! Just remember what your customers (Patreons) and FUTURE PATREONS probably want (Porn. It's interactive, cleverly written, beautifly painted PORN.)

Lol, possibly, but I don't think so. I do understand where the story is going, that doesn't help me backwards push events that are not text walls that then work within the context, that was my only point. It will take some creative thinking and a bit of time to make it not simply, click, next person, click, next person click... I have spent the time recording video walkthroughs and I can't even always remember the order of operations (which there wasn't before, now there is) which is maddening.

So... needless to say, I will push content going forward but there will have to be a brief period in which lots of things are addressed. I really don't want new players running into that text wall and being put off by it so that they don't want to play again.

I just assigned all the tasks in Trello and will be working to provide some type of tracking visible to patreons in the near future. I hope to provide more transparency and make it so people understand where things are going.
