Okay, so an update. AND I was called out on it, so I will admit to this bullshit upfront.
Last month we had some new location, with the potions room... it was drawn, but there was no need to. Yes the potions room will be a thing, I have made plans way way way further out than what people are playing. Due to a miscommunication, this location was drawn without need.
So what does that mean? Well it means we are a cycle off, so the end of August will be the location meant for end of July, and end of September will be the first sex scene with a main girl.
So onto the important shit, will it be hard core? No, it will be vanilla and start with oral/fingering/toys. Why? Because it' s logical in order. I am really sorry, but I don't agree with going full Saitama and one punching the main girls right off.
I have discussed this and even if it's for the lulz, you will think we are fools if we just go full on fucking for no reason. (okay, there's definitely a percentage that will say im wrong.)
So basically, as some people have called me out for bullshit, "Ladies and gentlemen, we got em". Feels bad, but we will make it up, I promise after this sex scene, I will hold off on the next location for an additional sex scene and try to do 2 in a row.
I tried to make up for the delay on the 20 dollar patron release. I will continue to take the criticism and make the release live up to your expectations.

considering the dark memory fragments upon chapter start, i wouldnt be surprised by the evil marc fucking a virgin until the blood is spurting down to her toes.
however, thinking about the whole thing up to now something is very off comparing "current" marcus, his progress and mentality to "dark marcus" thats less than a year on from where we are.
marcus got his memories scrambled, rewritten and faked is my assumption.
Well that's a bit of a bummer. Having to wait another 2 months for the first sex scene does taste a bit sour. I just hope we get some other scenes to have fun with ,in the updates until then, and not just more story.
Also, i know most of us are a bit harsh and eager for new content, but at the end of the day i think it's because we all want to see more of this game, to the point where people get frustrated for not being able to.
So keep up the good work Sad Crab team and don't let the criticism get you down.
Personally i hope they don't go with the dark future. I have said it before, but to me this game is about having fun, so i rather they keep the story light with humor. Quite franckly i think the IMVOIS idea is just silly and unnecessary but maybe that's just me.
Also i understand that some people quite like the idea of dark Markus just plain dominating the girls and the school. We are all different in taste after all, but i would keep that has some sort of alternate reality or memory in this case. Again, these are just ideas so take them with a grain of salt.

I understand from discussions with the developers on discord that they will implement 2 separate routes, one light and one dark, to give everybody their kink. I, too, will probably favor the light side. BUT still play both paths.. just in case..

While I wouldn't use the word you did, I will admit that it's pretty stupid NOT to go "full Saitama" at this point.
The adult content as is is still lacking, even if it it's not defined as an "adult game" or whatever excuses the old dev used. Going "full Saitama" would easily even that out, especially when that's been one of the biggest anchors keeping this game from moving forward since last year, at LEAST.

Hey i'm a bit confused here correct me if i'm wrong. So the updates come on a monthly basis and for now there will be an H-scene every other month. And the 20 dollars patreon release is always the latest version of the game right? One more thing for now which mechanics are going to be used for the scenes the mechanic for the Ginni scene or the Minerva one in the prologue, and will some content be chapter exclusive for example some scenes will only be unlockable in certain chapters and not available in others ? And if you don't want people to go crazy about waiting for the h-scenes you can add some other sexy scenes like dancing or something of this sort.

Can't say I'm in any rush to get to the endgame here, but I do hope for much more foreplay and "corruption" - things like dates shown in videos on Patreon. Right now Innocent Witches feel more like a great (if full of little annoyances) 0.1 demo, since I can't honestly think of first 3 (or was it 4?) chapters as any sort of content.

My interpretation is that the pensieve seems to be causing some kind of self fulfilling paradox where lord rattlesnakes personality will eventually genuinely bleed into the marcus of the past, causing events to unfold that cause the prologues events to happen in a nice little loop.
That's just what I'm assuming based on what I've seen so far. Pretty sure they called the pensieve experimental at one point too, and there's that trance petrius goes into
Right now most of the dark events didn't actually happen, outside of marcus vaguely recalling them but ravenclaw revealing herself as a ministry spy was a dark event and that's the driver of chapter fives plot
Somebody else mentioned a dark and light route, so perhaps you'll get a choice between that happening or you actually managing to change the events based on your morality choices
I can see the potential of Petrius being the alternate fate of Marcus (possibly the dark one). They're deliberately hiding his face but they have the same facial structure and it's not like little salazar marcus rattlesnake has never changed his name before
I agree with you on the foreplay part. I'd rather see gradual progress to the h-scenes than just play the game and get at least the basics in the first hour of gameplay. On the other side of things the game already has two good h- scenes which are done good. Id rather wait a month longer but get a good quality scene than get a bad one.
The pensieve you are using is experimental and definitely not a normal pensieve, that much I can say. If you notice the comment about the puppet in the intro to Chapter 5, it can explain the personality differences if you make some assumptions.
Sadly, the edits to chapter 4 have to happen to fix the logical gaps and shorten the text. It's a fork lift and move thing, I am trying to push the plot forward this next release to make chapter 5 very fulfilling.
