This "Team" is playing with the people, is funny, almost every news, they say, "we changed some lines code, we changed or re-writed some dialogues". This people could stop with the dialogue/story, you read like 3 hours, just in the beggin, in a porn game is to much. I don't want to think how much we will read in the final version, like 40 hours of text and 4 pictures.
PD: a porn game without sex, nudes and nothing, you can "play" like 3 hours and has no content.

Just looked though the games files and I couldn't find a single sex scene, just the MC getting kicked in the nuts. There aren't even nudes of the main 4 girls.
Don't know about the crab part but this is indeed very sad.

Yep, nearly 2 years of "development", barely any real content for this time and they are making 4k with this.

They said all the way back in march that the new update would have H scenes.

My guess was that it was with the ghost, now I think that every letter written in this thread is wasted space.

It is not a secret that we are constantly looking for ways to stand out. And if in quality or quantity it is not always possible, we try to do so through our hard work. And even the creation of the torrent page is not such a simple task, as it may seem. A link with a few words - is not our way to go. But is there a point to inventing a wheel? How do you feel about the design of torrent pages?

1. Lack of effort is annoying. There are many ways to spice up a page and they shouldn’t be ignored.
2. I prefer a nice looking page. It sets the atmosphere before you even start the game.
3. Properly set up page shows that authors enjoy what they are doing, meting that it least they are proud of their product.
4. The inside is what matters. The page can be pretty bare bones, in the end we are here for the game.
5. Too good of a page is suspicious, it looks if we are lured to try out a not so great game.
6. Too heavy of a page with too much stuff on it, seems gaudy and even prevents you from finding the long awaited link.

What the fuck? This is either a strange sort of stall, or a good look into why their processes lead to nothing getting done. Are they talking about that unnecessary website they set up with Word Press layout #14, and how to decorate a new page that will have maybe three links on it? Or is he actually wringing his hands over how to make a Patreon update?

I do agree, this is the weirdest excuse ever... why even waste time on this, and so far i can see that the votes for this the patreons agree, must vote is in "its the game that count, not homepage".
Not sure why they are stalling, except for milking which is sad :|

I supported them with $5 / month for awhile. I quit because they did nothing with their potential.

my theory here is that the discrepancy between the artwork (the title screen picture is my favorite harry potter porn art ever) and what the game actually contains is so big. the art is 10/10, the writing and other content is utter garbage. so much so that even if you didnt pay, getting baited into downloading and checking the game out feels like having your time stolen from you.

Im currently at 10$ sup. Mostly because i did not see anybody else bring their "news" here.
But i also want to support them since even if they are slow, and i mean REALLYYYY REALLLY slow... i'm convinced they will deliver in the end. And that road is maybe long I do know that. But I think it will be worth the wait when they start adding real erotic content.
I really do love the witch trainer and all their mods and other versions there is out there. And i think this game could be the next good "sequel". Where the story might be mediocre(we will see) but the artwork will be amazing.

I did when I cancelled.

I still follow the game here because I'm both hoping they'll wake the f*ck up and make something worthwhile of the big potential, and because its fascinating to watch trainwrecks, you know? Those two points that are perfectly valid for me even if you don't see them.

Aside from that, you would, in -my- opinion be crazy to ignore sites like this as a game developer.

You know how many of the games I support now/supported in the past that I found through Patreon? Not a single one. You know how many I found through f95zone? Pretty much all of them. I doubt I'm unique in that regard.

If people can only complain about their game, don'tcha think then that means maybe it's their fault?

This isn't a fucking charity, we want returns on our investments, and so far these pricks have missed deadlines, made excuses, doubled down on shit we explicitly say we don't want, and worst of all failed to deliver on the ONE THING we want out of this game. That's just poor business practice.

I want to support these guys, I do, but if I spend money on a game I want to be able to fap to it. But since they're seemingly outright refusing to put in H-content, i'm voting with my wallet

Most renpy games, this one definitely, have three main parts on which to evaluate them:
-story/writing
-art
-coding
I omit "gameplay", because renpy is for creating visual novels, which are a subgenre of (interactive) "novels", not of "games". For simplification though, I call pornographic renpy creations, and VNs in general, games anyway. Just because.
Anyway...
When going back to the early versions of Innocent Witches, you find that the coding was bad and the art mostly just stolen akabur images with some terrible additions. What's consistent, is the trash writing. The writer obviously used some of the pledged money to get an (amazing) artist on board, plus he got a coder, or the one doing the coding got a lot better (renpy and python isnt that hard actually).

What I am trying to point out is this: the core of the game, the really, Really shitty writing, is clearly being done by the main person behind this whole project. Meaning that if any of the three main aspects of the game changes in the future, it will clearly not be the author. What we have seen over the course of the development is the closest you can get to coating a vomited out turd in gold foil and selling it when applying the concept to game development. With a basically zero chance of that being rectified over the years this program will be in the making.

And this doesnt even touch on the fact that there has been so much delaying, many empty promises and lying about the delaying and empty promises.
