For those of you that are new to this game. Since couple of updates back the ship has a new captain at the helm Joe Banks. Since his arrival the game moves in a positive direction. So be a bit more patient with the game.

Will he retouch the game up to this point? I mean there would (imo) be huge imbalance if the first several hours of gameplay are like it is now and then suddenly satanic amount of smut appears.

From what I understand, Joe and the current team will be going back and editing the early chapters to condense the massive walls of text you have to wade through, but first they're concentrating on getting some decent content into the game.
I agree that the game needs to have MUCH less grinding side quests and MORE sex scenes, and not too many teases and no context at all... I'm honestly disappointed.
The artwork is superb, I think it's wasted potential to just have 1-2 H-scenes and a lot of teasing.
I like the little background characters where you can see someone like Merula from the Hogwarts Mystery app game, characters like Babydoll of Sucker Punch, and many others. I thought this was a lot of fun. I thought they could be interacted with a bit more.
Also I think the environment should be larger or more interactable. Repeating the same rooms for hours with nothing new or interesting gets boring quickly, because we have to do the same stuff a lot.
On Act I, after trying Daphne's mini game for about 30-35 times, and guessing almost %90 of her lingerie correct, I gave up because it was too repetitive and not worth it. Also even though I was going by walkthrough and giving the exact answers to her expressions, it kept saying I was wrong and I lost my strike. I thought I'm not going to bother anymore. (Small edit: She sometimes started giving 2 different expressions to 1 guess, and I didn't know what to do at this point. I started answering with the second expression, she said wrong. I started answering with the first one, she still said wrong.)
Again on Act I; I also had to give up Mermaid’s Treasure quest because (according to the walkthrough) after summoning Snape informally ("look what I found"), nothing could be done with McGonagall. I tried weekdays, weekends, official, informal mails, every hour. Nope, she doesn't give any extra answers, there is nothing in her dialogue. I thought I'm not her fan anyway and gave up. Maybe it could work on another arc now, I don't know.
Sonya has absolutely no point at all. Buying clothes for Sonya does nothing. Basically, Sonya does nothing, at least so far. Maybe these could be improved. Also I wish I could stop her from saying things like "Nya <3"... I thought she was going to be a guide and help out whenever we were lost during a quest, but she did nothing.
One last thing: The walkthrough (The one that's a google document; sorry can't post links since I'm a new member) isn't exactly a walkthrough :/ I mean at this point, the book in the upper right corner was more of a walkthrough than this document. Saying things like "this does something" isn't a help to people who are lost. Step by step explanations were better, but I still didn't understand why some things didn't work even though I was following everything.
The quest order in this document is very very messy too, I didn't know I was on Act I of the walkthrough until I put on the Diadem.
I know that the game is still developing, but I wanted to share my thoughts after playing it for a couple of days. Now I'm on Act II.
So far I like it, but definitely, 100% needs more H-scenes and much less grind quests.

I lost the walkthrough where there was a dark background, the instructions were like the google document's but some things like Daphne's expressions during her mini game, were explained by screenshots. I think I found it here on this forum, but I can't find it again. Does anybody have that walkthrough? Thanks.

I love the art and detail, the grind is hard to motivate yourself through, the text is... copious.

Yeah, smack down the fake news... with sex with a side character few people care about, that happened a looooong time ago, and with a scene that isn't actually sex and is more or less just the same thing repeated four times. So spicy. So, so spicy. So spicy it's a green bell pepper.

one of those has been in the game for 3 years and the other one isnt sex.
I wouldn't see a problem with veeeery long non-spicy/barely-spicy content, would it be justified by gradual corruption that is shown, moreover, I would wholeheartedly support it. It takes soooo long to get from Minerva sex to Jinny blow, and it wouldn't be so frustrating, would there be mini-scenes showing step-by-step changing heroines, instead of confrontation after confrontation only to get their journals in the end of act 2 and find out all of them are already wishing for MC to get in their wet panties.
These are all fair points and I share the pain.
But I distinguish between this game, where I sense the developers are trying (especially more recently), and a game like Library Story, where I feel like I am being played.
I still think this is a diamond in the rough. It has a lot of quality and I think it will get there. I would like to encourage the devs to get there faster, but I would also like to encourage them not to get discouraged.
