Unfortunately, this is done in order to eliminate sudden errors from previous versions of the game. We have not finished 4-5 part 1 of the act and have not completely transferred the game to the updated quest code, we also plan to update several core mechanics, such as the time system and quest system. These systems are pretty outdated at the moment and are prone to bugs and inconsistencies, which requires more thorough testing to weed them out. And even that isn’t always enough to test all the possible combinations of conditions and events. The systems that will replace these old derelicts are aimed at improving the coherence of the core mechanics and allow for more flexibility for new quests and managing the order of events via the time system. In practice this will first of all fix a number of old bugs that are still present in the game, such as persons visiting at the wrong time, or night music not changing correctly to daylight music. In regards to quests, it will be possible to integrate the quests more easily into the existing content and also combine them more easily with each other, without lots of conditions and flags to keep track of everything that happens at the particular moment in the game.

Oh wait, you still can't load previous version save after all these years?
It's why I never tried this game in the first place.
Someone lemme know when they finally decide to make it work like every other game so I don't waste my time every update.

Art styele is great. Sex content is far too little for the amount of time you have to spend doing things to earn one. I just spend hours playing up to the end of Act 1 Chapter 3, and have had only 3 or 4 sexual things that happen.
Game needs a Rollback, badly, the usual rollback on mouse brings up dialogue history. Needs to be changed. Very annoying.
Never in all the renpy games I have played has one needed to "load" like this one. Needs some work.
The replay needs to allow you to skip all the bullcrap "stress" and such and just play the scene freely. The "Continue" and having to wait needs to go away as well. Just let people click to progress. For example, the night elf. You have to go through the entire thing to get to the next part every....single....time.
We need a preview screen of Wardrobe items before we buy them so we know what they look like.
I am perplexed as to why there are two game launchers for each 64 and 32. There should only be the 64 and 32.
The Cheats options needs a "Max Stats" and option to give money and memory fragments.
The Seashells achievement not being accessible after the beginning of Chapter 1. It's not in the walkthrough that is online. Ridiculous. I only found out about it because there is an outfit you earn for it in the wardrobe. I figured out that if I loaded my OLD save from Chapt 1 I was able to get the achievement.
Broom is somehow gone from my inventory so I can't fly out the window.
Achievements I can't get for Act 1 Chapter 3, and I assume that is because I don't have a broom. So, I am stopping here because I am not going to Act II without finishing all I can for Act1.

I have done investigating and for people who wish to cheat here are the console commands:
tutorial.memory_fragments=5 (5 is whatever number you want)
I cant figure out the stats for the 4 powers though. The way the stats are listed in the console it is hard to know which one to edit. Imo the long grind for them is not needed. I can see a few times, but being limited per day is idiotic. It's why I am sick of long grinds in renpy games. It's just a useless mechanic imo. It's not fun, and games are supposed to be fun.

Well said Khan, I have been supporting your game for quite some time then took break, but will be resubbing once again you really are making progress and the patrons are cheering for you, don't ever listen to the leechers they are just horny ungrateful sh!ts who bust a nut left and right, think about your patrons who follow you for years and love your work I love the story of the game and if there wasn't even any sex scenes I would still pay to play it. Do you plan adding Voldemort and Harry in more Action story wise way in-future?! would be awesome like I said the people who love and support you already show it don't waste your energy here <3

I personally believe that it is necessary to maintain a constructive dialogue wherever possible and answer questions because people are constantly being misled here about the absence of sex scenes in the game, etc. We also really need an objective feedback from users who for some reason cannot support us. At the moment, there really isn't enough constructive feedback from all users, including patrons. Answering your question, Voldemort is not in the game and most likely will not be, because in our parallel universe he was engaged in completely different things (this is described at the beginning of the game). Harry Potter will still play a role in the plot.

As long as it keeps the player interested its good, no point in having a plot if the player has no reason to follow or is not rewarded.
Most bad reviews complain about the plot.
IMO there should be a "relieve" moment with porn or erotic scenes time to time to make the grind/following the plot worth it
Or have a replayable events you can do at the early game
Playing an erotic game makes the player pent up especially with this game's incredible art, I played this game a year ago maybe, enjoyed it but the grind was too much compared to the erotic scenes. This game is not meant for quick masturbation, okay, but when I played it was not also for average or slow masturbation, it takes hours, hours for someone to get one out. Unless you force youself on that glorious art and coom outside the scenes.
EDIT: played the 1-2 or 3 years ago and I hear the game has improved
Compared to the old plot, many points have been corrected in the new one, eroticism has been added at the beginning, dialogues and fillers have been shortened, but we have not yet updated Part 4-5 of Act 1 and have not balanced the number of skills to start the game and other small parameters because a seamless plot without gaps is required (we are just working on this and will try completely switch to the rails of the new plot in 0.10B) If you are going to play the game again, I advise you to wait for the release of 0.10B

The andoid version seems to be broken since as you start it you get the message about that there is a more recent and stable version of the game already out and this causes the game to close on it's own. Need a fix ASAP

Literally the only H game ever I have to turn my tablet on airplane mode for. As it says there is an update and kicks me out otherwise. Art work and style of game is very much like ?akbar? Princess trainers. I haven't played much as it's a pain in the ass too remember to turn on airplane mode and I have had to wipe the memory and go back to square one. Every single time I forgot what this game was. Each time I say Yeah I`ll play it more later.
Forget, click wipe data start new. Forget, repeat. Idk if it's good game it seems okay. But as a guy with hundreds of games. I regret clicking this one almost every time. Instead of yeah this is a cool game, I am like aw lost all my progress AGIAN fuck this game go play something else. Lol

- This is subjective, some people (many of our fans in fact) prefer hours of gameplay before they get a reward. If you want sex to happen as soon as possible - play other games. Additionally, the pacing is much faster in new plot, especially in later chapters.

- It will be difficult to have rollback with consistent behaviour in our game, since some of menu choices lead to scenes, and rollback in complex scenes, esp. with animations, breaks everything. The only reliable method is to save when the menu is open if you want to go through all choices. Other aspect is that some choices are intended to be exclusive, since they have consequences. This allows for replayability and better immersion ("choices matter").

- With the release of Ren'Py 8.0 (which supports python 3) 32 bit support will stop. We're maintaining the support for 32 bits atm while it's allowed by the engine. If you are bothered by one additional file in the game folder you can delete it.

- Yes, the cheats menu will be expanded in the next version, we need to update the interface for the settings first, at the moment it's pita to make any changes there since everything is very rigid code-wise.

- Sometimes games have achievements that are only available during a certain period of time during the story. It's a normal thing in the game industry. Since the achievements are shared between the saves there's little problem to replay a certain part of the story and get the missing achiev.

- This part is not obvious yes, but at the point when the broom is gone Marcus can either exit via the door, via the transgression potion at night, or at this point in the story it's not required to go outside yet.

- Some of the achievements are still in the process of transfer from old plot to new plot, so yeah some of them might not yet be available in new plot. This will be addressed in the upcoming version.

It really helps that Khan has been active on the forum, responding to comments. Fair play on that.
They are still sifting out some of the early turgid dialogue, but the new writer is also...pretty good.
The one thing I would say in response to your comments Khan, is to remember what Hitchcock said...you can only build up suspense for so long before the audience requires a release. And remember, there are many more fish in the sea. And many more ways to fish. You can safely reach some sort of conclusion with the mains and then either expand that relationship or move on to brand new options (e.g. Cho, tonks, the petulant red head) or both.
But there are reasons to be optimistic here. Devs are listening.
