lol, I remember for sure that there was someone from the patreons who said that they also didn't like the last few updates and the developers promised normal content, and not a repeat of the situation with the elf maid. and what now? Can I see the look on his face now? xD

I had a lot of expectations for this game. The art is great, the music is pleasant... but the gameplay... I wish there was... more to it.

Remember "Somehow, Palpatine is back"? Remember "Bran the Broken"? Remember Scrubs season 9? Remember the ending of Battlestar Galactica? We've all been through weird, stupid decisions in media. Creative decisions that just didn't make any sense, that just ruined the entire thing completely.

Yet nothing I can think of comes close to how just... completely BAFFLING the Elf Maid character in IW is.

I mean, this clearly doesn't matter, I don't _really_ care, and it would be one thing if it just made me angry or something... but that not it. This is just such a strange turn of events.

Even if this game had nothing but rabid fans and zero criticism towards it, it would be an unfathomable decision, to cater to the 2-3 people globally who are not physically repulsed by this abysmal creature design, when ALL this game has going for it is its OTHER characters and their (initially) well done design.

But that is NOT the case here. This is a shit show already. This game is already severely criticised, clearly the production is a nightmare behind the scenes (all the rewriting and shit) and clearly even many of the weird (PAYING!) fans of the game must be disappointed with the tempo and the direction in general, for several years now.

So... after all this, to give this frankly disgusting, boner-chilling freakshow any time of day - and even MORE AND MORE time and space in this game update by update... Someone is just wanting to watch the world burn. This must be a deliberate choice to sink the ship completely. Because NOT A SINGLE PERSON ON EARTH can think that this is anything but laughable.

It's as if Pfizer, instead of developing a COVID vaccine, had kept developing more and more severe versions of COVID, and just stuck doing that for years.... "Is this what you want, guys? "NO Damnit, we don't want WORSE covid you idiots, we want a vaccine!!" "OKAY SORRY.... okay now then, we've made an even worse COVID strain, that's what you wanted, right?"

I just love to rant, I'm going away now and as I said, I don't really care, I'm just enjoying being so COMPLETELY BAFFLED by this strange development.

Collectible cards? Fucking stockings? Some panty flashes with tentacles ('cause le goofy hehe xd)? You can change the fucking elf-maid's clothes? Is this a Sims wannabe dress-up game made for girls or some shit? What the fuck am I seeing?

I know we've been on this rollercoaster for years now, so this shouldn't come as a surprise, but Jesus fucking Christ. Just draw some fucking porn and put it into the game. This shit is scope creeping so far off-course that it's genuinely mind-bending.

My guess is that story progress is waiting on the story writer(s) to continue, and most of the other stuff in that update is created by the artist(s). Only thing that makes sense.

therr is porn but it's either in old version or buried somewhere on new version.
