now that you mention it, yes that is infact true and i feel like an idiot, however, how come the UI looked better back then? also i should have spotted that it is an older build as the game has the classic pixel art. feel like an idiot anyway now, thanks for pointing it out though

judging by the screen resolution you're playing on a laptop. if you have an integrated graphics card from intel - it probably doesn't support vulkan (godot runs on vulkan now)

OR you can try launching the game in a opengl3 mode, here's an instruction. this person is showcasing it on the godot.exe itself, but just repeat same steps for innventure.exe instead

I had this happen to someone already and we couldn't really pinpoint the issue (no crash logs, no errors, menu just doesn't show up), but they did have an old integrated intel gpu so I guess it might be the issue in question

I doubt this is a Vulkan issue considering the game is open in that screenshot. It would drop an error box before even loading a singular texture.

well true but it's gotta be related to the gpu I feel like, another person in my discord had the same issue and they were also running the game with an old laptop

If it is vulkan, intel's early vulkan drivers did kinda suck, maybe its an issue with vulkan 1.0 vs latest? further testing would be needed to know for sure.
