so I guess I have essentially 100% the game despite never finding out what happened to the ecologists surveyors?
I kinda understand that one guy saying it gets boring after 2 hours. and while I understand that this game's original is decades ago, once compared to current year standards it's basically Minecraft. Or heck, this game has quite the similarities with
The "insect" gimmick does get boring after 2 hours. and the fact the game doesn't really "end" just leaves a really bad aftertaste.
Don't get me wrong. The art is pretty, the premise is promising, and I also understand asking for multiple endings is just beyond absurd. I get that OP for now is just aiming for a faithful porting of the original game to the unity engine and that's ambitious already by itself. It's not called development hell for nothing.
and honestly I don't want it to end. at least not yet. the last map area (flower fields?) would have been the best place to add a big cutscene about what happened to the surveyors. maybe already eaten by the insects and we are greeted to a horrifying insect den? or they are in a huge coccoon but still alive and this is where a big story dump will take place?
