I have no clue but I'd try

set_val = 1
if_val ==1

see if that works, if not I'd try to change the else from invalid cheat code to the

Set $storyData.cheats to true line, but again, I have super surface minimal knowledge of any of this, gl.

I tried it out,just change set _val = 1 and if _val ==1 and you can enter the menu by inputting 1 as the code.

From the changelog this feels like it's going to be one of those "Sex with random npc" games with 0 story, the question is do I want to download 4GBs to test the theroy.

I was thinking that of the banner myself. Dev notes make me lean further toward that with "Randomly generated NPCs: For immersion and replayability, most of the girls you will meet are randomly generated, with stats depending on a lot of factors, and traits". Perhaps that is meant like the old simbrothel style games and not the AI generated sense.

It can also be a measure against loading times. Back button works through keeping previous passages in memory, so, if there is a lag when opening new passages, it can be decreased by turning off the back button
