Accent and slang are the major differences with each country having their own, when it comes to speaking casually then the grammar used varies with certain countries using grammar that is not used frequently in others, in formal speak though the spanish used is almost the same in every country with little to no variation. i have never met a latino nor spaniard that i couldn't understand ."Chichis"? Writes down for later use...
Aren't there more regional variations in Spanish than just slang? I've always thought of it as similar to how Americans and Brits speak the "same" language.
