On 2nd playthrough and I didn't really notice this the first time. So, our MC has a *really* bad habit of walking/running away from conflict. I get it, he's a kid. But this pattern is a little extreme. I get it, it's a character flaw and it's really being used *a lot* to up the soap opera drama and maybe stretch out the story pacing/story reveals. But I think this habit is laid on a bit thick. Just my two cents, everybody has different tastes and etc., and it's not, like, a critical failing. The story still stays entertaining. It would be a bit more to my tastes to have a choice a few more times to, you know, stay and hear somebody out - especially if MC actually likes that person.
Oh, and I wanted to add something a bit more positive. If this story goes on for a while you're setting up a looooot of interesting stuff for the future, seems so far something worth looking forward towards.
