We severely lack any detail about Alexis' romantic past. Even hook-up past. She is not a virgin, she has experience, jut she still seems very inexperienced. Maybe she only had one single boyfriend before MC. And it didn't seem very serious if she never brought him home.
It's weird that her past hasn't come up yet. When Iris being MC's ex came up, it should have been the time for her to also share her story.
Will we learn that her first was also Zane? Or even Santiago?

You address exactly their problem with each other: lack of communication.

Everything still seems very superficial and they don't really care about each other. That's exactly what a relationship is all about. It seems that both of them are struggling with their past traumas. With the MC we already know that his relationships with the girls were not without complications, and for me it starts with Erynn. And with Alexis, we can only assume how hard it was for her that the MC just disappeared like that. We don't yet know what happened afterwards, only its effects.

She said in thoughts that she never had sex with a guy she just met and/or never had sex on an aeroplane but not that she hadn't had sex after a first date (iirc she just says that she's "never done this before" so the meaning is unclear), there was no date involved with MC.

The way she said it, it was not about the plane, but the fact that she did it after just meeting the guy. Though they talked for hours before. Pretty much like a blind first date.

well plane is bit bad place for that since if girl screams aloud then end of that trip and quite likely ban to that company's flights and plane toilet's are small so not room to be careful.

but once he told the story she knew who he was so she wasnt fucking a stranger technically he was.

She did when they had sex because of the story the MC told her about how he confessed to Erynn. Before that story she didn't know who he was.

when he asked her at the bar she told him that she did after he told his story. Also he stole her first kiss when they were kids.

for a girl at that age, it is relevant and she will remember it her whole life, even Erynn knows about it, that's how significant it is. for MC, it wasn't, he forgot it all until she reminded him. so unless MC is on her path, he will think Iris was his first kiss.
