Zach is the worst kind of creep. He actually thinks that he has a shot with ANY of the girls, they all see right through him after spending more than two minutes with him.
He's not a bad looking guy, I've seen that character model used as the MC in a few other games and Nyx even gave him a damn six pack, I think it's her way of saying that looks aren't everything.
The moment he was like "come on, lets spy on the girls in the shower" I was done with him. So the punch/siding with Ethan thing was just the final nail in the friendship coffin for me.

In most school setting games MC's best friend,sidekick(male) is creep,boring,douche,etc. and if best friend is a girl,she is in love with him,jealous and less fuckable of all LIs...It's hard to be MC,lol.

I tried to play this as a forgiving, Zach bro. I'm sorry I can't. It's too hard.
He's a brainless idiot who makes red headed stepchildren from Kentucky seem like they came from a natural union.
He has zero self awareness or boundaries, lives in an alternate dimension where he is a Tate spawn and has the most disgusting lack of hygiene. It's impossible to like him (unless you can identify maybe? )
No, he needs fed headfirst into a wood chipper.

I peeked with Zach in my main PT (Alexis path). I wouldn't do that IRL, but it's a porn game so we can have some fun, and a peek is not that bad. But Elena and Laya forgave me since I have good relationship with them. Though I chose to be mad with Zach after his slip-up. Don't remember if Alexis said something about it, but since Layla is ok it must not have been much

According to the walkthrough it ends the Layla romance("just friends with Layla" flag activated), the same flag that turns on if you chose Alexis over Layla... so long term they remain friendly, but romance chances are over.
Goes without saying that by ending the romance with Layla it ends the Elena path too.

Val may still be possible despite taking a -4 hit (Layla also takes -4 and Elena -10 but relationship chances with them are over anyways).
No effect on Alexis or other girls.

I knew this was the case because i remember not only being kicked out of the truth or dare game, but Layla doesn't invite you to the hot tub the next day... so i knew the Layla path was fucked(at this point i simply dropped this save, no point in keeping it).

And its really annoying. The few times a male friend is a normal, decent guy, he's often gay. Just so he isn't a "threat" to the MC.
I'd love for these games to show more of all kinds of friendships. The female best friend doesn't have to be secretly in love with him, hell make her super hot and like girls only (and be prepared for a few uhm, comments). Let potential LIs still be friends with the MC if he's chasing someone else, and don't let them fade into the background.

You're wrong about that.
If MC goes meet Alexis on Sunday right after training camp, she gets mad at him and wants him to fix it with Layla, she leaves MC alone and goes home. - 4 Alexis Points, you lose the whole "Alexis Monroe, do you want to be my girlfriend?" thing and Iris watching Alexis and MC having sex later. Not too critical, but still.
If MC goes meet Alexis on Monday the next day after school, she says she forgives him as Layla did the same and just wants to forget about that. - 4 Alexis Points, and that's about it. You get all the content later.
I remebmer that like it was yesterday.

As I play each route focusing on only one girl, I missed a lot of the dramas you all are mentioning, and I already thought the game was too dramatic just from the MC's actions. Maybe I'll even play as a jerk MC just to see all this drama.

A bit off-topic, but I need to know, do you guys also have problems with alerts, like only sometimes being notified of reactions and quotes?

I opened a ticket about this months ago, but still no response, now I basically only know if I received reactions when I see the number of reactions received, and I see it at https://f95zone.to/account/reactions, but quotes are worse, I usually have to revisit the thread to check if I received quotes.

I receive alerts about reactions and quotes, but only part of them, like a fifth of them I would say, in my ticket I added more information and images, I won't post them here so as not to stray too far from the topic, I just want to know if others also have this problem.

After noticing these changes I considered redoing all my saves, I recommend you do the same.

These are not serious changes, but there are changes.

saves were borked a couple updates back so it's reasonable to assume there were changes in variables as well

clicking watched helps on quotes and with a bit luck if you got quoted it's on current page.

Man, the relationship with Val really leaves a bad taste.

Yesterday I was trying a solo path for Iris, which unfortunately doesn't exist, I got to the end of the update single, but with Val still interested, even though I hadn't done anything with her, and since the save was basically useless, I decided to use it for Val, but it was really bad.

Before kissing Val, she was really interested in the MC, always looking at him and flirting with him, but that ended after they finally kissed, everything for her is a maybe, she tries to put a barrier between them, makes it clear that it's not something serious, and the worst part is how the MC acts, my MC went from someone who wasn't interested in Val to someone obsessed with her, and he picks her up every time they're together, even though she says she doesn't like it, and she comments on it.

And the fact that she doesn't like being picked up isn't used well in my opinion, because she gets picked up all the time, and not just by the MC, and that gives MORE points with her.

What made me try this save with Val, even though I had given up on her before, was seeing how she looked at him, and flirted with him, even though my MC didn't show any interest in her, as I mentioned before, trying a solo path with Iris I reached the end of the update single, and with that I was able to observe how all the girls acted with the MC when he was single.

It's not really a problem with Val, but how Nyx used her and this change between before and after they kissed.
