Emily turned her head expecting a hug when MC was trying to kiss her cheek. Both characters talk about it and MC has his dramatic "I'm going to die of embarrassment" performance.

This kind of ties in with my thoughts on it. Same with Riona from elsewhere - if Val is killed here, it will have a big impact on a good number of the main characters. Suddenly you're going to have everyone's mood changed, you're not just going to carry on as normal, doing all the same things as we've seen so far in the game (and it's not Val-path reliant, either). If you're messing any of those girls around he will warn the MC that he's on a dangerous path and someone is going to get hurt. Honestly I think that this also serves as a final warning from Nyx, that things are going to end very badly for an MC who is messing around with multiple girls.
It would make sense to syncronize Erynn's first time in her "pure" route to with the one in her "vs Alexis" route, this way you don't have to do the same scene twice.
