SO.... This game will have no incest so Alexis won't be the MC's sister (so Layla won't either). Ethan maybe a possible sibling I suppose. Though I doubt it. I'd imagine that Melissa knows who his dad is because they all met in college. Nyx loves to tease us with hints and misdirections, so I am 50% on the "Gabi's husband is the MC's dad" and 10% on "MC's dad is dead" and 40% on "Mr Coleman is the dad". There are a few older male characters that are possibilities, more than you usually see in a VN - Andres, Mike, Mr Coleman, and Mr Ramirez. I don't think Dylan is supposed to be that old (I could be wrong).

I can't wait for the scene where Dylan teaches the MC the secret art of "Grilling Techniques". Followed by the inevitable betrayal where the MC then shares the knowledge with Emily...

Okay, I do want a pool party scene to happen, not sure that Nyx has the rig to render it though.

Agreed, there's a big game that just released an update which starts with the dad having a lot of sex.. Not my thing but it doesn't exclude him from the list of suspects. Ramirez would be 1, Coleman 2, unmet but seen guy 3... I doubt it's Coleman since the school year had already started (I think). Father dead but perhaps someone that Emily doesn't want to talk about (long shot theory). She most likely was pregnant when she met Andres. I don't think she cheated, I don't think anyone cheated. I think that they grew apart and decided to break up.

I can think up a few reasons why the mothers didn't tell their children about their fathers.

I'm fairly sure that when the MC and Erynn talk about it that she says that Mel told her it was a one night stand. I don't believe that any character in this game is or was a prostitute, that's nonsense.

Erynn's dad could be dead and that's why she is having a difficult time finding him.

Alexis, here the MC might have acted differently. In my opinion, Alexis didn't do anything wrong with MC, she only hid that she knows him, and she really loves him.
There's only one thing that bothers me with Alexis. When Alexis and Erynn argued, Erynn mentioned something about Alexis and Ethan they were having an affair or something, And that she took Ethan once, and now the MC. (If I remember correctly, I might be wrong) Of course, Erynn might be wrong. I don't know, or I remember something wrong because I played last month ago.
I am a bit surprised with Ethan because Erynn says she and Ethan have nothing in common. Only work. Yet she says Alexis took him once.

Well alexis said that she didn't had anything with Ethan because she don't even like the guy, as she already said more than one time and that was a lie he said to try to break alexis and erryn friendship. Ethan is douche enough to do that so I believe her .
And with that said by erryn it's seems erryn had dated ethan at some point.

You're quite right about Alexis and Ethan.Erynn did mention it once that she stoled him.But another thing about him is could he be lying? I mean, it was he who told that to Erynn. And as an a hole he allready is i wouldn't be surprised.

Ethan is a red herring IMO (at least in terms of relationships). I think he is there to "scare" us. I don't believe he and Alexis hooked up, I doubt that Erynn is lying to her "best childhood friend" about him either. I think Erynn and Ethan dated a little bit but he was an asshole and now she is stuck working for him and his family.

Well you may go for Alexis, i go for multiple different paths for each charachter. However if i realy had to choose one Erynn would be winwin.

i think Ethan is using the modeling to try and control Erryn and stay close to her and i think he lied to her about Alexis to try and split them up to gain more control without Alexis getting in the way

On that i definitely agree. He must be blackmailing her or trying to sort things out with her if he can. Only part i don't get is why did he said something like that. That he was with Alexis, that she stoled him from her? That move would prety much reject any girl. Right here he's more compromising himself and i must admit in heated argument i believe Alexis anytime. He could split them for moment yes, but what happens when two of them confront Ethan? Somehow i believe that Ethan is just for now bad guy, that there will be more of them. We all ready saw small fishes like Emanuel or that guy that was after Layla.

I don't understand why so many VN's use these fairly unrealistic backstories - MC parents get a divorce, MC lives with dad, has almost zero contact with mom for extended period of time, then MC moves in with mom and both mom & MC carry on like nothing happened.
So the MC is so angry with his mom that he goes 5 years where he barely even speaks with her on the phone and hasn't seen her once in that time (yet he blames the dad for his parents getting a divorce)?
The mom is frustrated that her son is turning into a troublemaker, so she sends him to live with his dad (who really isn't his dad) and goes 5 years without talking to him? Then after 5 years it's all 'sweetie, honey' and she is being portrayed as this caring doting mom.
Come on - any mom that is willing to ship off her 12 year old son and then go 5 years without talking to him, is a really shitty mom. Devs don't need to take this drastic approach for a backstory. They could at least go with - the MC maintained a lukewarm relationship with his mom over the years. That would make these loving reunions more believable.
I realize this isn't a main plot point, but it is something that always bugs me.

Having got that pet peeve off my chest, I am really enjoying this VN overall and how so many of the relationships are - intertwined.
The dev is weaving some exciting collisions to come in future updates - I assume since the Dev made us choose between Nikki and Cara, we will also have to choose between Alexis and Erynn. Then there will no doubt be a confrontation with the MC, Alexis and Layla........ and possibly Layla and Elena ....... and I assume the new girl will be some long lost childhood friend or something.
Then there is the issue with MC's mom and who his dad is (I'm going with Coach Mike as my guess).
Also is the story arch with Nikki and Cara done? I have a feeling there is still more with them or one of them.

Believe it or not that shit actualy happens. For example in the case of this VN Emily (Mom) wanted to come several times but it was Andres who told that it isn't good idea. I tell you this from personal expiriance. I'll not go into details, the thing is parents or one of them can sometimes be realy childish, where even child junior would act more mature.

In the case of this game if they cept contact so i don't see reason why not be all carying mom. MC is her son (that is if) so its quite natural behavior for mom to act like nothing happend. Will she talk about all the times they were separated or try to make thing right with action. You know words mean nothing. When she gave him her car keys that was one way to show her afection or something that was a right call. When she gave him a job at her restoraunt again big hit. That's just my opinion.

if Ethan managed to split Erryn and Alexis up by saying Alexis came on to him then she would have no1 but him and he could then use that to manipulate her, but i think she realised what he was trying to do but was too late and already signed a shady modeling contract thats why she no longer likes him but just stuck with him
