The drug is not used in this demo. According to the current settings, the effects of the drugs are temporary, and the development of character relationships depends on how the protagonist uses these drugs. We will take into account player's feedback to determine whether the drugs will have permanent effects in the official storyline.
I see. I still haven't played the demo, so I'm still unsure what the effects of the drug even are right now. And as a general rule, I try to recommend not changing the direction of a game to follow a fetish that wasn't part of the original design. But I will say that one of my favorite concepts for mind control is the idea of a "smart drug" that temporarily improves a person's capacity for learning, but also causes them to "learn" things that they might not otherwise accept as truth, effectively brainwashing them through their exposure to the things around them. And I was thinking an experimental Alzheimer's treatment was the perfect fit for that, as it could strengthen a person's ability to form memories and retain information.

And it doesn't even have to be deliberate and malicious. At least in the beginning, I think it's more fun if people end up accidentally brainwashing themselves. For example, if someone starts illegally selling the drug to students as a study aid, one girl might pop a pill before working on her homework for her women's studies class, where she has to critique an essay by a submissive woman that tries to explain how all women have a natural desire to seek out a commanding authority figure, and how incorporating that relationship into your love and sex life is the ideal source of fulfillment that women deny themselves due to a misguided belief that submitting to a Master is a betrayal of one's pride and self-determination. (Or something. The point is that it's supposed to sound more positive than some Andrew Tate bullshit.) But she's then interrupted by a call from her friend who starts rambling on about how the protagonist is, "like, sooooo cute, and you're lucky he's into you. You should, like, stop living in denial and learn to enjoy what a guy like that can give you." After her friend hangs up, she loses herself in a masturbatory fantasy of the protagonist claiming her as his sex slave, and then falls asleep. By the time she wakes up, the drug has worn off, but she's internalized the fantasy and her newfound "understanding" of how fulfilling it can be to submit to a loving Master.

...But that could be way off base from whatever you have planned for this game. I'm just giving an example of the kind of potential I saw from reading the description, and what could be done with the premise.

Love the art style, but...demo? I can't be the only f95 user who feels a little jaded when I see that.

I'll follow with interest, but until we're several updates in, it's hard to take it as a game that will last.

Wishing you the best, dev - I hope there's a reason to come back and download in the future.

Your understanding of the drug aligns with ours;), and the effects of the drug in the plot we've set are just as you described. If we were to make the drug have a permanent effect, we would definitely introduce a new branch option for it

Welcome to the internet, if you thinks lab rats is the first mind control story or even the first mind control by drugs story you must be new here. Mind control drugs where hardly a new idea when the lab rats guy did it so don't try to pretend that this dev is stealing their original idea.
Wasn't implying theft, you are. I was just pointing out that the plot is similiar, and that the character designs are knock offs.
