I had the same issue until I ran the game using a Japanese Local Emulator I'd suggest trying that and seeing if it works for you.

Hmmm for whoever want to check all events in-game and don't want to wait daily cycle or stuff... here's a little trick for cheat engine.
Right as the day starts. the value is 0. If u give some steps, the clock above will move a little bit, every time it moves it counts 1(visual value). U can lock a time of the day or event by searching "Unknown Value" or "Value between 0 and 4000". Walk a little bit and go searching for increased value... there are 2 important ones, the visual who represents the clock on time above(visual but for safety reasons it must also be frozen) and one that goes +20 every certain number of steps... check on the list the value that goes 1+1 and the value that goes adding 20(both start from 0 after day ends btw). Freeze both values and u can walk infinitely in morning, afternoon, whatever. Day will always ends if u swap value of the adding 20 per 20 to 3060. So literally any value from 0 to 3059 will change the time of the day so u can freely explore.
Seems like with Float Value is easier to pinpoint the local that changes when time goes... it affects the background sun and whatever as well...
Search for Unknown Initial Value.
Walk somewhat and press Increased Value -> Repeat some times.
Without Moving, open the menu and Unchanged Value Again.
Walk some more and press increased.
Repeat that ti'll some values remains(like 5 or 6). Opening Menu(X in game) and Unchanged Value with menu opened also reduces variables at screen when searching and is recommended.

I had the same issue until I ran the game using a Japanese Local Emulator I'd suggest trying that and seeing if it works for you. Otherwise try redownloading the game and running in Japanese emulated local.

If that still doesn't work, change your PC Local to Japan instead of just emulating it
