Hello everyone,

I'm looking for NSFW games that offer long-term playability, either through a "New Game Plus" feature or by having a lot to collect. Essentially, I'm after a game where the NSFW elements feel earned, rather than just thrown at you. I've played Evenicle, which had some of these aspects, but I eventually put it down. I'm not too picky about the game mechanics or genre; I just want something that scratches that "collector" itch, if that makes sense.

I'm not sure if games like this exist, but if they do, I’m confident this is the best place to get a recommendation.

Thanks!

Depends on what sort of game play, really.

Love of Magic, Wizard's Climber, Love Sex and Second Base, Space Journey X, Superpowered, The Headmaster, Ruin Me, Teaching Feeling, and Princess and the Tower all fit in different ways.

I'd link, but it's way too late night/early morning for that much concentration.

game play wise I'd I would like something that keeps you involved, be it by combat, managment etc. huge sucker for tycoon games. Thanks for the recommendations I think I've heard of some.

Black Souls is about 8 hours if you get ending B,C, and D with new game+, and the sequel is about 20 hours with all ends but B. There's also things you can collect each cycle, if you want to.

I have a bit of gameplay focused games on my list (signature)- most of them being rpgs but even the headpat/cohabitation sims on my list usually take quite a while to play through- and even longer to get to the nsfw.

If you want the sex scenes to be rewarding, most of the games here probably fit; they're all wholesome *ROMANCE* games (even the rpgs), so it'll take a while to actually get to those scenes. I love games with gameplay, so nearly all of the ones I have on my list I find really fun and enjoyable- and quite long too!

thank you for your suggestion I will look into it but just skimming over the tags I am not sure it will be my cup of tea.

THANK you so much for that list while I never specified that I am looking for wholesome games this seems to hit the spot with at least some of the games.

You’re welcome! Wholesome enjoyers are so rare around here so I’m happy to meet more!! : D (anyone know how to disable emoticons? I want to use the normal :\D but I dunno how to disable them)

About Black Souls- I personally haven’t played it since the game advertises rape way too much for me to be comfortable with it- but I do know it’s completely optional and there is a lot of romance in the game (if you don’t choose to rape people, ofc) with scenes for every character. Also, it’s an rpg so that’s fun!!

Let me get into a bit more depth here. It really does match up with a lot of what you said.

  • long-term playability, either through a "New Game Plus" feature or by having a lot to collect.
    • There is both New Game+ and stuff to collect (collection could also include just seeing what happens when you do certain things, there are ALOT of interactions).
  • The NSFW elements feel earned, rather than just thrown at you.
    • The games are fucking HARD. You can get to some sexual content pretty easily, but most of it requires progressing the game.
Now some of those tags, but most sexual content is optional and the scenes can be turned off if you want. The only non-optional sexual content (if scenes are not disabled) are in the second game, where there's a couple of encounters where you get raped upon defeat, and one time in ending E.

You gotta be more specific like what tags do you want, what gameplay you are looking for or things you don't want to see even if you are not picky.

My bet is Rance [1-7, Quest (8), 9] (everyone really needs to try out Rance no matter if they like it or not). Only 1-9 though and the ones that fits your criteria as of this writing is Rance X which is not translated yet after 6 years of it being released. The reason? Rance X has the longest game script in the gaming world, make that what you will.

This is the achievement list and I only achieved one true ending out of 4 (out of 16 endings). My playtime is 100 hours as of this writing (look at the bottom right of the picture) and I feel like I am barely scratching the surface of this game. For every ending you get, the next playthrough you can get new game+ bonuses so you are stronger and can achieve harder endings. So the new game+ criteria is taken care of and expect yourself to lose on your first time playing.

What about collection? Via cards! Since Rance has a lot of characters and Rance X is ultimately where the game ends. Characters from Rance 1-9 returns and gathers together to fight the big bad. I mean look at this, it says I collected 361 cards and the wiki says there are over 1200 of them but only 300+ unique cards since some of them are just variants as you can see in the picture below where there are two of the same character but one is naked.

One of the many gameplay it has is this, which is turn-based battles (I'd say 50-75% of the game's overall gameplay). You choose one card per faction up to 7 (you have 10 factions in total which represents nations and races of the world such as monsters, demons, gods, kalars, humans etc.). The main strategy of this game is team building and character synergy. Each card has abilities and passives so you build around them. The team I got is ultra broken. Two characters deals massive damage and buffs that specific character, Rance (the protag) is mainly for breaking invulnerable shields, one is for poison and buffs, one is for healing, one is for enemy interruption and the last one is for AP recovery. Yeah, this game needs you to think and strategize especially for bosses which the game forces you to counter by picking specific characters.

Now, for the deal breaker. First, Rance X is the 10th game of the series and you gotta play the previous games in order first to understand the story and appreciate the returning characters. That means playing through a lot of games which differs in gameplay, story, characters and more. Second, it is a visual novel first, story/characters/world second and gameplay third. The gameplay is fun (and hard) but certain aspects of the old remains such as grindy, hidden and confusing mechanics are very prevalent in the series. Third, Rance X is untranslated, you can only play the game in Japanese and while I can read the language I am assuming you can't which very much hinders you from trying out the game. Lastly, Rape. Rance, the protagonist, is an asshole who only likes women (thankfully not underage girls but sadly he also doesn't like hags). He will try everything be it good or bad just so he can get what he wants which is women. So basically he is an anti-hero (does bad things, leads to good things).

So I suggest you play through Rance 1-9 at your own pace so that when Rance X eventually gets an english release, you are ready to play it. It's great. When I mean at your own pace, I mean years of playing this game. I started Rance when I was a teenager around 15-16 and now I am currently playing Rance X at 27. It is a commitment but it is worth it.

I can also suggest more games if you really don't like it, just let me know.

Does this have any wholesome content at all? Looking through the tags, can't find anything but a bunch of really messed up stuff

Yes and no which in your case you should avoid even though I really love the series, like I said in the thread you made. Rance 1-9 features bad endings. Rance X features characters dying (men) or raped (women) if you don't manage to save them or be in time. Demons and monsters in this game are cruel by the very definition of it, also Rance even if the outcome of his cruelty leads to a better result. As much as I love the game and would like everyone to experience the world building, characters, story and very addictive (and sometimes frustrating) gameplay loop. This game is not wholesome at all and I would not recommend to you. Hell, in Rance X, Rance was given the title of the Fuhrer and that at least should tell you everything.
