Yes, if you see any of my games (Chris Eman), the vast majority are about dark magic and the occult, so corruption is usually the central theme, inevitably leading to NTR or similar themes.I want to know is game have NTR ?
Report the OP and ask for the tags needed.I don't want to criticize, but it's true that the tags are very vague for the content of the VN.
Let's see how long it takes him to abandon the project and release another game.
This troll is literally spreading hate everywhere; you only need to look at some of their recent activity to see that.Let's see how long it takes him to abandon the project and release another game.
Thanks for the feedback!Hmm... this is very unconventional both in its story and presentation, but I'm curious to follow and find out more. Just started and though I can somewhat get used to the different way of presentation style, I must say the lewd scenes can do with some fine tuning.
For e.g. while having character overlays on top of normal scenes can be a unique way to carry the story / dialogue, they are a a hindrance and irritant during sex. I mean players are presented with an interesting animated scene and suddenly there are like two big rectangular character blow up still pics overlaying on top and taking up nearly half the screen. Not sure if those are really needed?
The Isabel scene could also do with a bit more dialogue, less panning and at least some context around it. For e.g. the scene where Ikari gets tentacled: between partial blocking by character pic overlaps, spinning camera showing trees, house beams and floor and just a few lines of dialogue, everything was over before I could even mentally register what happened.
I've just started and not sure if things get better in the future, but simply offering some early feedback on an otherwise promising game here. Thanks.
Yep, I can appreciate your challenges - this genre is certainly very niche and not likely to result in sizeable subscription revenue so you kind of encounter headwind and handicap right at the start. My gut senses trying out IH2 is you have a unique vision for your story world and art style that is unconventional and differs from quite a number of common AVN best practices. Thanks for the feedback!
I'm not sure if you're referring to the “comic strip” style I try to use or something else; as for the dialogues, yes, that's one of my weakest points, the dialogues in sex scenes; in fact, I hardly do any here, I tried to do something more or less; I've also received criticism for those cuts between scenes and for choosing to continue or repeat scenes; they are all artistic decisions that I thought would work better.
I don't think this VN will change much in order to maintain consistency; although it's difficult to continue, it doesn't have much support, I'm a low-profile developer, and even in that regard, this VN is the one that received the least, much less than its prequel.
However, I am considering doing a reboot, and although we know that the reality is that there is always “something wrong with it,” I am looking at these things so as not to do them in the reboot; so that the narrative style and character presentation, that is, the very essence of Irrevernet, remains the same.
What strikes me is that IHII is almost mathematically 10% of the downloads and attention that its prequel had, and I've tried to follow advice from the previous VN.Yep, I can appreciate your challenges - this genre is certainly very niche and not likely to result in sizeable subscription revenue so you kind of encounter headwind and handicap right at the start. In order to make the thing work, you need to strike a balance between personal expression and commercial viability. Perhaps you can consider experimentation in the main story and stick with well-established practices during sex scenes. Say what you will, the sex scenes have to be good to attract subscribers, lots of games have shit content and just good sex scenes and they still plough along ok.
My personal suggestions for improving the sex scenes that are easy to implement and don't take up too much time:
1) Yes you need to get rid of the grey replay scene menu (it's distracting and serves no purpose).
2) Add some simple sound effects (doesn't even need to be moans, just some banging sounds, no need to spend too much time making sure it syncs. A lot of horny gamers have pretty low standards for fab material.
3) Do up the sex dialogue (use some suggestions from AI if you really cannot do it, after a while you should get the hang of it) In the long run, it's actually more economical to extend a NSFW scene using dialogue, inner thoughts and 3rd party narration then churning out multiple renders.
4) Don't overlap stills on animations, they don't fit well. Comic book polyptych presos require skill and take much more effort than just putting box pics on top, refer to My New Girlfriend where the dev does this very well. I don't think that should be your focus at this stage of development, too much effort for questionable returns.
5) Since this isn't a romance game, your camera angles have to be as explicit as possible. Make sure there is clear line of sight on actual penetration animations, jiggling boobs / butts and ecstasy facial expressions. I don't recommend using sex animations to experiment exotic approaches.
These are pretty much common porn shooting and AVN industry best practices, so you won't go too far wrong if you do them. If the lewds are done well, subscription revenue should improve. Once basic finances are secured, experiment with your personal expressions in other areas like story, presentation style, normal dialogue, graphic lighting, background ambience etc.
Just my 2 cents and hope at least some of it is useful to you going forward or should you decide to do a rework and relaunch.
Cheers and all the best.
Success won't be easy with this type of game. IH has no MC so that eliminates the basic of most avns, the power trip of being a winner surrounded by pussies. What strikes me is that IHII is almost mathematically 10% of the downloads and attention that its prequel had, and I've tried to follow advice from the previous VN.
There's something that's uncomfortable, and it's like “scabies with pleasure doesn't itch” (I don't know if the phrase is translated correctly or if it's the exact equivalent).
In other words, I try to refine my style, but within my own limits; it would be something like, “Do you like my style? I'll try to improve, but I can't emulate the successful ones”; I don't know if you understand what I mean.
I realize that I choose the difficult path, but especially with this VN, within my framework, I was surprised by how low and unnoticed it went, even by my standards.
From what you posted, I will still look into how to apply certain things or reinforce them.
Thanks!

What many vns readers seem to be looking for is a substitute for the lack of sex relationships and romance in their lives. I like this type of vns because what I'm looking for is porn with a story not a virtual girlfriend.
So maybe you can get a niche spot for a vn like this but I doubt you can reach a big market with it.
Thank you, knowing that at least there is interest is very positive. It's awful when you post something and maybe the only thing you get is “NTR trash” or “Boring NTR.” One person even took the trouble to write it in Spanish to make sure I understood their insult.Agree with what Ragnar says as well, you start off with a handicap due to the unique approach.
Assuming you are not doing this solely for fun and actually need some financial support and recognition, you need to get the porn bits correct as a start. Is that ideal? No. But how many of us IRL actually are in a job that is ideal? Probably <1%.
This might sound very coarse and mercenary, but sex really sells. And your kind of dark sex is very niche, which is both good and bad. Bad in the sense the market is small, but good in the sense that once you've conquered it, the hardcore fans are willing to pay loads just to keep it going.
There are quite a number of super niche games here with crap story, zero artistic value and horrible renders, yet they survive version after version because they have captured a small number of supporters' hearts.
The anti-ntr crowd is rabid here, there are people with alt-accounts review bombing games and such.Thank you, knowing that at least there is interest is very positive. It's awful when you post something and maybe the only thing you get is “NTR trash” or “Boring NTR.” One person even took the trouble to write it in Spanish to make sure I understood their insult.
I'm not lying, or rather, I want to be transparent: money isn't the driving force, but I also dreamed of being “the next Sumemrtime Saga,” naively.
But I always say the same thing (it sounds like a broken record): if it were about the money, I should have quit earlier. I kept going because (I realized this later) there was interest beyond not having Patreon, but they were in a pandemic; then that interest waned.
But when I started to have at least a small community, as if on cue, one morning I woke up to the news that Patreon had suspended about 97% of my Patreon supporters, who were Russian.
It's nice to chat with those who follow my VNs sometimes. You're surprised to find out they're from different countries, and you learn a lot along the way.
