Is AI generated art well accepted?

AI will shine when its combined with 3d programs like blender, not a1111 or other things.

Sadly the most AI is not good, some of it really crap. It feels lot of developers try to use it at a shortcut and the result isn't good.

I'm planning to work on a RPG game with femboy mc that includes AI art. A lot of artists expressed their distate for AI art since machine learning uses their works. Are games that use AI art well accepted in this community or in general? Would you play a game that includes AI art?

for me, it depends. If the AI composition has steady presence of pictures and style, I would say yes. But promble is here-it is of difficulty for AI to produce steady quality art works with identical face in different generating rounds.

It seems to be despised, but I don't know if that's just because you don't see "Yay, AI generated art!" threads/posts?

There's so many levels of it though. AI's that have been desperately trying to learn to draw like artists that disappeared off the face of the planet such as Jin (MTSP, Tachibana san, etc.) is somewhat admirable. But others that just dish out generic, uncanny valley, and/or badly drawn stuff is another matter..

Personally I blacklist the ai tag so I'll never see it because if I see ai and get tempted to just 1 star it
